Meet Anna and Elsa in Holiday Attire at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party
Anna and Elsa have a meet-and-greet at Princess Fairytale Hall during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Princess Fairytale Hall is immediately behind Cinderella Castle in Fantasyland. The sisters wear their holiday outfits at this location. They are the same outfits they wear in Frozen Holiday Surprise, the castle stage show held nightly during the holiday season. They begin meeting at 7:00 p.m. and continue to meet until 11:30 p.m.

We headed over to Princess Fairytale Hall after meeting the Polar Bears at Santa’s Christmas Carnival. It was 8:25 p.m. when we got in line to meet them. You’ll want to note that this location has two lines. One line is for Anna and Elsa, the other is for royal couples: Cinderella with Prince Charming and Rapunzel with Flynn Rider. You’ll want to make sure to get in the correct line. A cast member was positioned near the entrance, but there were no signs up identifying the differences on our visit.

In our case, the line to meet Anna and Elsa was considerably longer than the line for the royal couples. This is also one of those locations where you can’t see the characters until you reach the room where they are meeting. During our wait, we experienced several lulls where the line didn’t move for several minutes. A couple of people ahead of us even abandoned ship, which made our wait a few minutes shorter. It was 9:02 p.m. when we met them. So we waited a total of 37 minutes.

Anna was eager to show off her dress, featuring the Yule Bell, which signifies the start of the Arendelle holiday season.

She bragged about how Elsa had made her own dress. It was pretty indeed.

The sisters were full of laughs, which was nice to see.

Unfortunately, this location offers a box that takes photos of guests, so there is no PhotoPass photographer. We really wish Disney would have real photographers at these locations instead of a machine. Meeting Anna and Elsa is kind of a big deal, and most guests purchase the Memory Maker so they can have quality photos made. It feels kind of cheap when a timed flash is going off every few seconds while you’re trying to talk to them.

Anna and Elsa sign autographs at this location. You’ll want to have your autograph books out and ready before your turn. This location is listed on the party map, and the sisters’ times and location were also listed in the My Disney Experience app on the evening of our visit. Just remember that if you want to meet them, you’ll need to get in line before 11:30 p.m. If you want to confirm their times on the evening of the party, you can use our instructions below. (Note that party characters don’t show up in the app until 7:00 p.m.)
