Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room
Anyone seeking a nostalgic trip to the Magic Kingdom will want to sit through a performance of the Enchanted Tiki Room. Walt Disney created this attraction’s concept and debuted animatronics to the world when it first opened in Disneyland.
Animatronics are also used in many other Disney attractions around the world, like Carousel of Progress and Haunted Mansion.
This attraction is not actually a ride, but an animatronic performance. The longest wait should be for the next show to begin.
You’ll wait in a covered outdoor queue. Prior to entering the theater, there is a pre-show that lasts about four minutes. The theater doors will then open and you’ll take a moment to get a seat on the benches inside. After that, the performance begins, lasting approximately 15 minutes.
Enchanted Tiki Room is pretty charming and has a lot of character. The music is fairly catchy as well. It’s not an attraction that you’ll feel bad about missing, but if you’ve never done it then it’s worth a visit. For my family, we visit this attraction maybe once every couple of years.
