Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom is an interactive card game where magical portals appear in various windows throughout the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World.
This attraction offers a fun, interactive game primarily for children to early teens. Below we’ll take a look at the overall game. I’ll also add in a few thoughts on whether or not you’ll want to take the time to experience Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom on your next vacation.
Here are the basics to familiarize yourself with Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom.

Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom
Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom is an interactive card game that can be played across the park at various portals. All you have to do is pick up a map and starter pack of cards over at the Firehouse on Main Street.
The portals to begin playing the game are located on the map. They can be found in various store windows around Main Street and in other parts of the Magic Kingdom.
The windows can be identified with the sorcerer key box underneath the sill. You’ll scan your magic band at a portal to start the game.
Additionally, you can pick up a new set of cards for every day that you enter the Magic Kingdom. During the holidays, special cards are offered that are exclusive to the Halloween and Christmas parties.
When my son was younger we used to play Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom. I liked the fact that I could elect to participate or find a seat nearby for a break.
Most of the locations have stores in close proximity, so you could probably do a little merchandise browsing while children play as well.
Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom is a fun interactive game and if you find yourself at the park on a busy day it’s a nice way to enjoy your time if you aren’t wanting to fight the crowds. I feel like it’s probably not the best attraction for anyone on a “once-in-a-lifetime” trip.
However, if you have several days at Magic Kingdom or get to visit often, I do recommend checking it out with your children. The only drawback is if you do get your kids involved they might want to play it more than you care to spend the time. It’s pretty entertaining.
