Meet Santa at the Enchanted Glade Gazebo During Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party (2023)
If you’re visiting Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, you might enjoy meeting Santa at the Enchanted Glade Gazebo. This location offers a charming queue, and seeing Santa in his elegant attire is always fun. If you have extra time during the party, it’s an excellent place to have a photo taken. Below, we’ll walk through Santa’s meet-and-greet and look at a few photos.
Update: This meet-and-greet moved to a new location in 2024: Santa’s Christmas Carnival at Storybook Circus. If you would like to know Santa’s current location, see our guide on where to meet Santa Claus at Disney World. It offers an overview of his locations at all four parks and at Disney Springs.

Santa’s meet-and-greet is at the Enchanted Glade Gazebo in Liberty Square at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. From my experience, one of the best times to meet Santa Claus is immediately after the fireworks. We like to stand on the side of the castle nearest Liberty Square to watch the fireworks. Then, immediately after the performance, we cut behind Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe to get in line for Santa’s meet-and-greet.
Since the gazebo sits behind the Christmas Shoppe, it’s a little off the beaten path. So when what to my wondering eyes did appear–but a well-lit path beaming with holiday cheer. On a serious note, the entire queue for Santa’s meet was delightful. It was decked out with twinkling lights and felt kind of dreamy.

We joined the line for Santa’s meet-and-greet at 10:17 p.m. and met him at 10:30 p.m. A PhotoPass photographer was present at this location.

Santa sits under the gazebo in a beautifully decorated setting. The SC initials on the flooring were a nice touch.

Of course, Santa will ask if you’ve been bad or good. Then, you might discuss a few items on your Christmas wish list.

He won’t make any promises. But he’ll see what he can do.

If you don’t have the Memory Maker add-on, you can ask the cast member attending the meet if they’ll take a few photos with your device. From my experience, they’ll be more than happy to help. Getting to meet Santa Claus during the party is a wonderful experience. We wouldn’t miss it!
It offers photos of everyone we met, location details, and more. For a full overview of the event, see our guide to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. You might also enjoy learning more about Christmas Events at Disney World.
