Disney’s California Grill Celebrates 30th Anniversary with Special Menu Items
The California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort celebrates its 30th anniversary this month. The restaurant is significant because it was the first signature dining experience at Walt Disney World. It is an incredible dining experience if you’re looking for something special. California Grill offers stunning views of the Magic Kingdom Resorts area and the park. The restaurant also allows guests who dine earlier in the evening to return and watch Happily Ever After from the rooftop terrace. It’s truly a magical evening.

Since 1995, guests have ascended to the 15th floor of Disney’s Contemporary Resort to dine at California Grill, Walt Disney World Resort’s first signature dining experience. Renowned for its innovative, market-inspired cuisine, legendary wines, and sweeping views of Magic Kingdom Park and Seven Seas Lagoon, California Grill is celebrating 30 unforgettable years of culinary magic starting May 15, 2025.
To mark this milestone, California Grill is bringing back select fan-favorite beverage and dish options for a limited time. These offerings are marked with a ㉚ on the menu and are available now through May 2026.
Guests can once again enjoy:
- Sonoma Goat Cheese Ravioli – Organic Mixed Mushroom Ragoût, Tomato-Fennel Brodo, California Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Grilled Pork Tenderloin – Creamy Goat Cheese Polenta, Roasted Pork Belly, Aged Balsamic Organic Mushrooms, Zinfandel Glaze
- Blueberry-Goat Cheese Cheesecake – Blueberry Meringue, Vanilla Chantilly, Raspberry Coulis, Goat Cheese Mousse
- The Monterey

For three decades, California Grill has set the stage for the Disney food and beverage revolution, paving the way for the new generation of signature dining at Disney Parks and Resorts. Though the menu is ever-changing, California Grill continues to push boundaries with a dynamic three-course selection menu. At the heart of the experience remains the blending of bold flavors, innovative techniques, and meaningful guest interactions.
