Review: The Spring Rolls from the Spring Roll Cart in Magic Kingdom’s Adventureland
It’s no secret that the spring roll cart at Magic Kingdom is one of the most popular snack spots in the park. As someone who visits fairly regularly, I tend to avoid a lot of “theme park food” because this is not a once or twice a year visit for me. So over the past few months, I have been trying to incorporate more quick-service items and snacks into our visits. That’s partially the reason I ended up trying the Ham and Gruyère sandwich and Crème Brûlée Croissant from Gaston’s Tavern back before Christmas. It’s also how I ended up standing in a long line of guests to purchase spring rolls on a reasonably sunny afternoon.

The Spring Roll Cart is located on the right as you walk toward Aventureland. You’ll see it just before you reach the bridge with the Adventureland sign overhead. I had to pull the picture below from my archives because it’s hard to get a photo without a long line of guests waiting.

Now I’ve had the cheeseburger spring rolls previously, but it had been a couple of years. The last time I tried them was during our stay at the King Kamehameha Club at the Polynesian. The cheeseburger spring rolls were available during appetizer hour one evening. For this visit, the two options were the Cheeseburger and Pepperoni Pizza options. In the past, we’ve also seen Pastrami and Pepper Jack Cheese and Reuben flavors. On this visit, there were three options to purchase.
- Two Cheeseburger Spring Rolls
- Two Pepperoni Pizza Spring Rolls
- One of Each Spring Roll
All three options were $9.49 at the time of purchase. Since I had not tried the pepperoni pizza flavor, I opted to go with the combo deal.

The spring rolls are prepared elsewhere and kept in a warming case toward the front of the stand. While I can’t verify it, I would imagine that they are always pretty fresh. Nearly every time you walk by this location, you’ll find about 20-30 guests waiting.

Thankfully, the line moved swiftly for us. This is a cashless location, as are most dining locations these days at the theme parks. If cash is your only form of payment, you’ll need to use that cash to purchase a gift card at a merchandise location. You can then use the gift card to purchase the spring rolls or any other items at cashless locations.

After receiving my piping hot order of spring rolls, I walked them over to Tortuga Tavern, which is across the walkway from Pirates of the Caribbean and the Beak and Barrel Lounge. Now this wasn’t necessarily close, but it’s one of my favorite quiet spots in the park to enjoy a quick bite to eat.

Since I was breaking my fast with this snack, I was pretty hungry, and I didn’t think about cutting them open and taking a photo of the inside. I started with the pepperoni spring roll first. It comes with a small cup of marinara sauce. (Make sure it’s not too hot before biting into it.) The interior of the pepperoni spring roll is basically layers of pepperoni and cheese. I expected it to be greasy, but it really wasn’t that bad. As far as taste goes, it was about what you would expect from a frozen pizza pocket you might purchase at the grocery store.
After the pepperoni, I tried the cheeseburger. Now I do think this flavor is slightly better. It reminds me of a classic McDonald’s cheeseburger with pickles and onions. It comes with a sauce that I believe is a mix of mustard and ketchup. Between the two, I think the pepperoni is what you would traditionally expect, and the cheeseburger packs a bit more of a punch flavor-wise.

Ultimately, I will probably order the spring rolls again if I need a quick snack while I am in the area. They are a fun, fresh, and hot item that serves the purpose. I always like to remember that sometimes these kinds of snacks taste better because you likely feel famished after a couple of hours touring the park. We’re not talking outstanding snack, but it might feel like it after trekking over to Adventureland to pick it up.
While the spring rolls aren’t new by any means, we do keep a list of new snacks that have debuted at Disney World in 2026. Or if you would like to know more about dining at Disney World, see our entire Disney World Dining Guide. Check back with Resorts Gal soon!
