First Look: New Marquee Installed for Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin at Magic Kingdom
Walt Disney World has shared a few photos of the new marquee installed for Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin at Magic Kingdom, and it’s definitely oooohhh and ahhhh worthy! The new signage features classic celestial colors in shades of blue, yellow, green, and purple. The wording reads “Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin.” Underneath the ride’s name, you’ll see a posted wait time for the standby entrance and a return time for those who have a Lightning Lane.

We have a feeling that Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin will be a very popular Lightning Lane selection in the coming months. The attraction is scheduled to officially reopen on April 8, 2026. It has been closed since last August. Here’s a look at how the attraction’s new marquee lights up at night.

The blue sky backdrop shows during the day changes to a nighttime look. Even the stars have a perfect golden glow!

When Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin reopens, guests can expect new and updated elements, including new ride vehicles, detachable handheld blasters, a brand new scene featuring a robot named Buddy, and updated interactive targets! We have an overview of some of the changes coming to the new version of the ride if you want to learn more.
Make sure to stop by and take a fresh spin on the ride to check out the changes if you’re visiting soon! Check back with Resorts Gal for the latest spin on all things Disney!
