Where to Find Clarabelle Cow at Walt Disney World

Clarabelle Cow is a somewhat difficult character to find at Walt Disney World. She makes several appearances at seasonal parties throughout the Halloween and Christmas seasons. However, she does not have a daily meet-and-greet in any of the parks or appear at any character meals. Clarabelle made her debut in The Plow Boy, a 1929 cartoon. According to her write-up on the D23 fan site, she has appeared in over 17 cartoons, typically paired with Horace Horsecollar, an even rarer character to find in the parks.

Below, we’ll preview the locations where we’ve seen Clarabelle Cow in the parks in recent years, starting with the Frontierland Hoedown at Magic Kingdom. The Frontierland Hoedown is a surprise, pop-up character dance party that happens on the walkway in front of the Country Bear Musical Jamboree. Since it’s a sporadic event, there’s no real way of knowing when it will happen. We’ve typically lucked up on it in the late afternoon between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. It lasts approximately 10 minutes. You can ask a cast member in the area about availability, but it’s intended to be a surprise and delight type of thing for guests who happen upon it.
