Significant Exterior Work Continues at Disney’s Yacht Club in Early Spring of 2026
On a visit to Disney’s Yacht Club yesterday afternoon, we couldn’t help but notice that a significant amount of scaffolding was up as exterior work continues. You may remember that we saw exterior work at both the Yacht and Beach Club last year, when both resorts received entirely new entrances. On this visit, we saw scaffolding surrounding the majority of the resort. As you can see from the photo below, the entire end closest to Disney’s Dolphin Hotel is surrounded.

Here are a few photos from yesterday afternoon. (March 25, 2026.)

Disney notes on their website that exterior work is expected to take place at the Yacht Club through late 2026.

It looked as though they were preparing to put up new scaffolding in the gazebo area.

Significant scaffolding was up around the resort’s main entrance.

Here’s a reminder of the current refurbishment notice posted for the Yacht Club.
Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is undergoing visible exterior maintenance through late 2026, which will impact views from various locations throughout the Resort hotel and, at times, require alternate paths of travel. As part of this work, from mid-January 2026 through early May, the Admiral leisure pool will be closed for routine maintenance. Guests may see or hear work in the area during daytime hours until the refurbishment is complete.
Beginning February 23, 2026, the Crew’s Cup Lounge will close and is expected to reopen in May 2026. Additionally, Yachtsman Steakhouse will temporarily close for a refresh in May 2026 and is expected to reopen by August 2026.

During our visit, we also saw what looked like yellow siding being installed at Disney’s Beach Club. We’re unsure if it’s just a primer that’s yet to be painted or if the resort might soon be a new color. For more on what’s going on around the resorts, see our guide below:
