Where to Find the Fairy Godmother from ‘Cinderella’ at Disney World
The Fairy Godmother plays a vital role in Disney’s animated film Cinderella. She is responsible for helping Cinderella attend the royal ball, giving her a dazzling look right down to a pair of glass slippers. The Fairy Godmother formerly had a regular meet-and-greet at Walt Disney World. She used to meet a couple of days per week (pre-pandemic) in Fantasyland near the castle wall. Unfortunately, she never returned to that location when traditional meet-and-greets were reinstated in the parks.
These days, you might find her roaming the area immediately behind Cinderella Castle. She makes surprise appearances at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. Disney’s website mentions that the “may” stop by to visit children. Here is the exact wording:
To commemorate the occasion, Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother may stop by to visit children. Character appearances and entertainment are subject to change without notice.

Does the Fairy Godmother have a regular meet-and-greet at Walt Disney World? No, but you could run into her as a roaming character in Fantasyland. (She is not listed in the My Disney Experience app.)
Where can we find her? If you have the chance to see Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, you might see her riding on the princess float.
*The Christmas Parade is held during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and is offered to guests of Magic Kingdom the week between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day.
