Figment’s Brush with the Masters Scavenger Hunt Returns to the 2026 Epcot Festival of the Arts
We’re only a few days away from the start of the Epcot International Festival of the Arts, and I wanted to circle back and discuss a few planning details. One of which is the return of the Figment’s Brush with the Masters Scavenger Hunt. You may already be aware that every festival offers a special scavenger hunt geared toward children. The Festival of the Arts is no exception. If you’re visiting over the course of the 2026 festival, which runs from January 16th through February 23rd, you might want to participate.
However, there is a caveat. You’ll have to purchase a map. This year’s Figment’s Brush with the Masters Scavenger Hunt map costs $11.99, which is up a couple of dollars from recent years. It does come with a prize, which will be revealed at the start of the festival. We personally always purchase an individual map for each child in our party who wants to participate. We also always ask the cast member for our prize at the time of purchase. That way, each kid can pick out what they want, and we don’t have to worry about stopping to pick up the prize later. You can do as you see fit, but this always works well for us. If you were to only have one day, you might forget, and let’s face it, our brains aren’t wired to remember everything.

Here’s How it Works
We love this scavenger hunt because it gets children involved in exploring the World Showcase. Each country listed on the map will have a Figment-themed painting. You’ll explore that country until you find the painting that matches the sticker on your map. Once you find the painting, place the corresponding sticker in its rightful location on your map.
Of course, the idea of it all is to complete the map and then turn it in for a prize. From our experiences, the scavenger hunt can take a decent amount of time to complete, especially if we’re doing other things on our journey around Epcot. So we like to do it as a “hey, while we’re here,” let’s keep an eye out for Figment, rather than a “we have to find Figment and move on to the next location.”
Those who visit regularly might prefer a different approach. Or if you’ll have more than one day at Epcot during your vacation, you might break it up into a multi-day event. For us, it’s always a casual thing that only gets a little serious when we have difficulty finding a Figment. If you do run into a challenging hunt, you can ask the cast member in the area for a clue. They will know exactly how to help without giving it completely away.
Where to Purchase Figment’s Brush with the Masters Scavenger Hunt
If you would like to purchase a copy of the scavenger map at this year’s festival, you can do so at one of the following locations:
- Creations Shop (large shop near the front of the park in World Celebration)
- Disney Traders (shop along World Showcase Promenade before you get to Mexico Pavilion)
- World Traveler (shop at Epcot’s International Gateway)
These locations will also have a selection of prizes. If you do decide to pick up your prize at a later date, you must do so by February 23, 2026. Prizes are subject to change. For more on this year’s Epcot International Festival of the Arts, see our guide:
