Photos: The Reimagined Garden View Lounge at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa
Disney has shared photos of the soon-to-open reimagined Garden View Lounge at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. Per Disney, the Garden View Lounge combines the elegance of the Victorian era with a playful nod to the charm of the Walt Disney Animation Studios film Alice in Wonderland. This new (again) experience opens to guests on March 19, 2026. Here are a few photos and more details that Disney shared about the upcoming tea experience.

Excerpt from the Disney Parks Blog:
As you step into The Garden View Lounge, it feels like walking into a sunlit conservatory. My personal favorite part of the space is the floor-to-ceiling windows. No matter the time of day, natural light pours into the room, giving the entire space a warm, inviting glow.
As you look closer into the space, the furniture strikes a balance between modern comfort and classic Victorian, making the lounge feel fresh while honoring the beloved Grand Floridian style guests know and love

Guests can expect to find floral patterns, unique fabrics, and shades of gold, green, and blue throughout the space. The idea was to create a serene environment that felt natural. You’ll find plenty of references to florals and other plants, creating a lush feel.

The lounge’s carpet even includes a nod to Mickey Mouse.

Here are a few more photos of the seating arrangements inside the lounge.

Again, the tea service returns to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa later this week on March 19, 2026. Reservations for this experience must be made on Disney’s website or the My Disney Experience app. Options include a traditional tea service or plant-based options. A special children’s tea is also available for younger guests.
We have a preview of the opening day menu with prices here if you would like to know more. We also have a separate first look here of the tea service.
