Where to Find Gaston from ‘Beauty and the Beast’ at Walt Disney World

Gaston is the antagonist of Disney’s animated and live-action films Beauty and the Beast. He was formerly a regular character who met daily at Walt Disney World. Sadly, his traditional meet-and-greet ended when the parks temporarily closed due to COVID-19. Since then, he’s made appearances at special events. Probably, one of the most notable memories of Gaston was when the parks reopened later in 2020. At that time, he and Merida rode horses down Main Street, U.S.A., in cavalcades that temporarily replaced character meet-and-greets.

Below, we’ll discuss where you can see Gaston when you visit the parks. He still appears daily in Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. However, it would be a very rare instance if you were to run into him at a traditional meet-and-greet.

Does Gaston have a regular character meet-and-greet at Walt Disney World? No.

Current Places to See Gaston:

• Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage: This entertainment offering is a must-see for fans. Gaston plays an integral part and is featured in the opening act. He’s also the star of the Mob Song, where he convinces the town to attack the Beast. It’s a truly villainous song and dance number.

Seasonal:

• He is also part of the villain’s unit in the Boo To You Parade during the Halloween Party.

Timeline:

• Gaston formerly had a daily meet-and-greet on the side of Bonjour! Village Gifts in New Fantasyland. This meet-and-greet ended when the parks closed due to the pandemic. (2020)
• When the parks reopened, Gaston was part of the Fantasyland Friends Cavalcade. He led the cavalcade on a giant Percheron horse, flexing his muscles the entire time. (2020)
• He was part of the Disney Villains Cavalcade offered instead of the Halloween Party. (2020)
