Impressions de France at Epcot Closing for Refurbishment Later This Month
Walt Disney World has announced that Impressions de France will close for refurbishment later this month. Located in the back of Epcot’s France Pavilion, the beloved film highlights numerous reasons to visit France over the course of an 18-minute run time. It is endearing today as it was when it first debuted, when the park opened back in 1982. Of course, this means that the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, which runs the better part of the day in the Palais du Cinema, will also be closed for refurbishment. Here is the official announcement for both attractions that share the theater.
Impressions de France will be temporarily unavailable for routine refurbishment beginning February 22, 2026.

It is not clear from the wording what this refurbishment will entail. We are big fans of Impressions de France, and try to see it a couple of times each year. If you haven’t taken the time yet, we encourage you to see it when possible. Unfortunately, in recent years, the film has only been offered at select times of the day. Typically, it’s shown once earlier in the morning and then again after 7:00 p.m. until the park closes. So you’ll want to check availability and exact hours of operation during your visit to see it.
