Magic Kingdom Christmas Parade Filming Expected November 10th and 11th
The Walt Disney World calendar now lists Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade at Magic Kingdom for 2:00 p.m. on November 10 and 11, 2026. While Disney has not officially announced the parade filming, the scheduled performances suggest the return of a familiar holiday tradition: television crews visiting the park to record segments for ABC’s Christmas Day programming.
The filming gives guests a rare chance to see Magic Kingdom’s Christmas Parade. Outside of Christmas week, Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is typically reserved for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, a separately ticketed event. Here’s what we know about the dates listed on the calendar!

Christmas Parade Scheduled for November 10 and 11
According to the Walt Disney World calendar, Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. at Magic Kingdom on Tuesday, November 10, and Wednesday, November 11, 2026. While Disney has not announced television filming, the daytime parade appearances align with the annual tradition of recording holiday parade segments for ABC.
A Rare Chance to See the Christmas Parade During the Day
For guests visiting Magic Kingdom during these dates, the scheduled performances could offer a special opportunity to see Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade in the daylight. The parade features holiday floats, festive costumes, and plenty of seasonal details. Personally, I find this version much easier to photograph during the day.
Outside of Christmas week, Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is generally exclusive to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, a separately ticketed event held on select nights during the holiday season. The holiday parade usually replaces the Festival of the Fantasy Parade during the week between Christmas and New Year’s Eve. Disney typically doesn’t add those details to its calendar until closer to the time.
If you are visiting on November 10th and 11th, keep an eye on the park’s schedule and weather. Last year, rain showers postponed the parade taping a few times. If you want to watch the parade from Main Street U.S.A., you’ll need to get a spot early. Disney often invites Cast Members and their families to fill in the taping area. For what it’s worth, most guests wear festive colors and holiday apparel.
We’ve been fortunate enough to see the parade taping at Magic Kingdom a few times in recent years. If you would like to know more about those experiences, see the following:
