Where to Meet Polar Bears at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

If you’ve been seeing the buzz about cute polar bears making appearances at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, you’re not alone. They, along with the parade gingerbread characters, have become quite the popular meet-and-greet. We met the polar bears at the entrance of Santa’s Christmas Carnival during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. This is the bear’s second year making an appearance at the party. For reference, Santa’s Christmas Carnival is the name of Storybook Circus during the party.

While the sizable bears are not necessarily a well-known character outside of the party, they are fun to meet. I found them reminiscent of the Country Bears over in Frontierland. 

After meeting Pluto near the Barnstormer, I got in line to meet the polar bears at 8:09 p.m. It was about a 10-minute wait. They were more than eager for a little Disney blogger photo shoot when they saw me coming with the camera. Here are a few photos of how things turned out. 

A PhotoPass photographer was available at this location on the night we attended the party. This location was not listed in the My Disney Experience app. Ultimately, this was a fun meet-and-greet and something kind of different! If you see a reasonable line, I’m sure you’ll enjoy stopping for a quick visit.
