Where to Find Vanellope von Schweetz at Disney World

Vanellope von Schweetz has become an obscure character at Walt Disney World. She formerly had a traditional meet-and-greet at Epcot. However, that meet-and-greet permanently closed in 2023. Since then, we’ve seen Vanellope make a few appearances in seasonal parades. Unfortunately, her pal Ralph has become even more elusive. Below, we’ll look at where you might see Vanellope and preview photos of past locations.

Does Vanellope have a regular character meet-and-greet at Walt Disney World? Unfortunately, her Epcot meet-and-greet ended in 2023 when Figment took over the space.

Seasonal:

Vanellope drives a miniature gingerbread car in Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade.
She drives a large candy float in Mickey’s Boo To You Parade. (Goofy usually drives the same float in the Christmas parade.)

Timeline:

Vanellope and Wreck-It Ralph met together at the Epcot Character Spot in 2018.
In 2019, a new meet-and-greet opened called “Meet the Stars of Ralph Breaks the Internet.” This meet-and-greet opened inside the Image Works area of the Imagination Pavilion. The characters would come and go from their meet-and-greet through a special portal called “the link.”
Vanellope returned to Image Works when traditional character meet-and-greets were reinstated in the parks after social-distancing measures. Ralph did not return, leaving Vanellope to meet with guests solo. (2022)
Vanellope was replaced by Figment at Epcot in 2023.
