Limited Time Offering: BDX Droids Now Appearing at Walt Disney World

A while back, Disney announced that BDX Droids would make appearances at Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios sometime in 2025. The time is at hand. Starting today, July 16, 2025, the BDX Droids are present at several locations in Galaxy’s Edge.

Per the My Disney Experience app, the miniature droids from the Star Wars franchise can be found at the following locations (at select times):

Near Droid Depot
Near Millennium Falcon
Roaming Near TIE Echelon

If you open the My Disney Experience app and select characters at the top of the horizontal menu, then filter the location for Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you’ll see their listing (BDX Droids) between BB-8 and Buzz Lightyear. If you select the drop-down arrow beside their listing, you’ll see the exact locations. Select any location and it will display the times they are meeting for the day.

We have not seen an official announcement from Disney, but per reporter Scott Gustin on X, they will be at Galaxy’s Edge on Tuesdays through Saturdays until August 30th. So if seeing them is important to you, make sure to plan your visit accordingly and check the My Disney Experience for their exact times on the day of your visit.
