Our Character Index (A-Z Reference)
This page provides a reference with Disney World Characters listed in alphabetical order. Each character name links to an individual spotlight with current and past meet-and-greet information, photos, and seasonal appearances. I’ve included a little bit of our story about how characters have become a big part of our coverage (and lives) through the years.
When I began writing about Walt Disney World, I had little experience meeting characters. My son and I would almost always take the time to meet Mickey Mouse and have a family photo taken on our vacations, but that was pretty much it. So, I decided early on that I needed to learn more about characters and made it a big part of the website’s focus. Little did I know I would meet many people who would change my life and help broaden my perspective. I want to thank you if I’ve ever met you while waiting in line to meet characters, especially if you’ve shared your “character” story with me. We all have one.
I once waited nearly two hours to meet Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck in their Christmas outfits! When it was finally our turn, Daisy disappeared because she’d lost an eyelash! I never met Daisy that night, but I still walked away with a smile. My heart also felt a little lighter because of a conversation I’d had with another guest while we waited. Those little things add up to make a big difference.
Anyway, I wanted to give something back to all the character fans. So, I’ve created an index below with an A-Z List of characters. It will take some time to complete, and eventually, I’ll have more to add. We have coverage of most of these meet-and-greets already on the site. But for each character, I’m creating what I call a spotlight. It will include photos of the characters at different locations, places you can meet them currently, and places you might see them, like parades and seasonal parties. It will also include past and present looks that we’ve been privy to through the years.
So, if you’re a fan, check back occasionally. Most of all, I hope you enjoy them!
