Character Spotlight: Frozone from ‘The Incredibles’ at Disney World

Frozone is a regular character who makes daily appearances at Walt Disney World. He is a supporting character voiced by Samuel L. Jackson in Disney Pixar’s Incredible films. You can typically find Frozone at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. However, outside the park, he can be pretty challenging to locate. Below, we’ll preview the places you might find him and look at his timeline.

Meet and Greet Locations at Disney World:

• Meet Roaming Frozone at Disney’s Hollywood Studios: When Joy from ‘Inside Out’ moved to Pixar Plaza, she took over Frozone’s traditional meet-and-greet area. Frozone, then, became a roaming character. He is often out in Pixar Plaza most of the day. You can check availability and find his exact times in the My Disney Experience app on the day of your visit.

Seasonal:

• Frozone is part of the character lineup at Disney’s Jollywood Nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. (2023, 2024)
  

Timeline

• Frozone was part of The Super Shindig Dance Party at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in 2019. This limited-time offering was available after the release of Incredibles 2. At the time, the area was called Municiberg Plaza.
• Frozone was part of the Pixar Pals character motorcade at Disney’s Hollywood Studios when the parks reopened in 2020 after the COVID-19 closure.
• When the character motorcades ended, Frozone had a character sighting inside a small, fenced lawn area at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Guests could wave to him from a distance. (Early 2023)
• Frozone returned to a traditional meet-and-greet at Pixar Plaza in May of 2023.
• In 2024, Frozone became a roaming character, making way for more favorite Pixar characters at Hollywood Studios.
