Gepetto is a woodcarver in Disney’s animated film Pinocchio. A live-action version starring Tom Hanks was released in 2022. Gepetto is considered a rare character at Walt Disney World. He does not have a traditional meet-and-greet but makes a few appearances in the parks. Below, we’ll preview photos and places where we’ve seen him.
Movies to Watch Before Your Disney World Vacation:
- Pinocchio (1940 film)
- Pinocchio (2022 live-action movie)
Does Gepetto have a regular meet-and-greet at Walt Disney World? No, he does not have a traditional meet-and-greet.
Does Gepetto make regular appearances in any of the parks? He is often on the finale float during the evening performance of Fantasmic! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Sometimes, the characters in Fantasmic! make surprise pop-up appearances in the afternoon. However, that is not guaranteed. We have run into Gepetto a few times in the late afternoon near the park’s entrance.
Other Places We’ve Seen Him at Disney World: You might run into Gepetto during character training at Epcot, but it would be random. He is also part of the walking unit of classic characters near the beginning of Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade.
