Winnie the Pooh and Tigger’s Meet-and-Greet at The Thotful Spot

Winnie the Pooh and Tigger meet guests daily in Fantasyland at The Thotful Spot. This is the only location to meet Tigger at Walt Disney World outside of character dining. Below, we’ll discuss the details of meeting Winnie the Pooh and Tigger together during your vacation. Be prepared. Like many characters, these two often have a long line. So grab your nearest pot of honey. We don’t want anyone to get rumbly in the tummy while we wait! We’re off to the Thotful Spot to see some old friends.

Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Meet Together at The Thotful Spot

The Thotful Spot is next to The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh attraction at Magic Kingdom. If you’re facing the ride, the meet-and-greet location is on the left-hand side. It’s directly across the walkway from the Mad Tea Party.

The Thoful Spot sits adjacent to The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.

A sign outside the queue’s entrance reads, “A place for friends to meet.” It lists an idea of the times. For instance, on the day of this visit, Winnie the Pooh and Tigger were meeting intermittently between 10:00 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. As always, we recommend checking the My Disney Experience app for the exact times on the day of your visit.

Times are posted outside the entrance of the meet-and-greet.

It’s important to note that since the queue for The Thotful Spot is in a partially covered outdoor area, the line will close due to inclement weather. So, if it looks like a storm is approaching, you’ll want to consider whether or not it’s worth joining the line. As an example, we waited in line for two hours to meet Winnie the Pooh and Friends during a special event. Unfortunately, we never met them due to a thunderstorm. This queue can also be hot because most of it is in direct sunlight.

The queue for The Thotful Spot is entirely outdoors.

When I passed initially, it was around 11:45 p.m., and I didn’t want to wait in line because it was so long. I could tell it would take over an hour to meet them.

A long line of guests are waiting to meet Winnie the Pooh and Tigger.

So, I took a few other photos in the area. After that, I returned and decided to tough it out. Per my notes, I got in line for The Thotful Spot at 12:17 p.m. Thankfully, the line wasn’t as long as it had been on my first pass. However, there were at least 40 guests ahead of me.

At approximately 12:43, Winnie the Pooh and Tigger left to take a break. This is common. Due to the heat and other circumstances, characters take small breaks from time to time. So if you see them leaving the queue, hang tight. They will return momentarily.

On this day, they returned at 12:51 p.m. They were only gone for about eight minutes. To give you an idea, when they took a break, I was still about 25 or so guests back, and I met them at 1:10 p.m. The entire wait was 53 minutes, which is a considerable amount of time. However, most will agree that they are worth the wait. Aren’t they adorable?

Winnie the Pooh and Tigger were kind to pose for a couple of photos.

“Loveable Winnie the Pooh is stuffed with fluff and full of honey!”

While waiting in line, I met the sweetest family. They were kind and allowed me to take a photo of the character’s autograph from their daughter’s book. As always, I meet the sweetest people while waiting in line.

Winnie the Pooh’s and Tigger’s Character Autograph

Winnie the Pooh and Tigger are non-speaking characters but still communicate well with guests. On the day of my visit, a PhotoPass photographer was available at this meet-and-greet.

Pooh fans might also like to meet Winnie the Pooh at Epcot in Christopher Robin’s room in the United Kingdom Pavilion. You can meet four of Pooh and Pals at a character meal at The Crystal Palace.

Here is a photo of four of the classic characters at the Christmas Party. They wear holiday scarves for the Merry Christmas Party and Halloween costumes for the Halloween Party. Unfortunately, Rabbit is a rare character who seldom makes appearances.

Piglet, Eeyore, Winnie the Pooh, and Tigger
