List of Character Meet-and-Greets at the 2025 Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party has officially begun, and we now have a list of character meet-and-greets for this year’s event! As you probably know, Magic Kingdom’s Halloween Party is one of the best places to meet rare characters. Numerous guests attend at least one party each year just to meet a few favorites that you won’t find anywhere else.

In a surprise twist, Disney has added a new character to this year’s lineup. Mother Gothel, the villain from Tangled, who steals the magic from Rapunzel’s golden locks. She makes a surprise appearance at the party entrance near Market Street. Note that her appearance will be more of a wave and keep going, as you should do when you encounter the worst Disney Villains. We are also excited to see that Maleficent and the Evil Queen are part of the Princess Fairytale Hall Trick or Treat Trail.

Halloween Party Character List

Here is the complete list of character meet-and-greets, followed by a few special sightings!

Main Street, U.S.A.

• Minnie Mouse joins Mickey Mouse in Halloween Attire: Town Square Theater (New)*
• Jack Skellington and Sally: Town Square Theater

*This is the first time that we’ve seen Mickey and Minnie Mouse meeting together at Town Square Theater during the Halloween Party. We have a separate photo post with tips from our experience meeting Mickey and Minnie Mouse at this year’s Halloween Party.

Adventureland

• Aladdin, Abu, Princess Jasmine, and Genie: Agrabah Marketplace
• Captain Jack Sparrow: Caribbean Plaza

*We have not seen Jafar, who typically meets in Adventureland during the party.

Frontierland

• Shaker, Wendell, and Big Al: Roaming around Frontierland

Fantasyland

• Alice, Mad Hatter, Queen of Hearts, Tweedle Dee, and Tweedle Dum: Outside the Mad Tea Party
• Anastasia, Drizella, and Lady Tremaine: Fantasyland
• Ariel and Eric: Near Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid
• Belle: Enchanted Tales with Belle Queue
• Gaston: In Front of Be Our Guest

Gaston is quite the popular character during the Halloween Party. He greets guests on the bridge in front of the Beast’s castle near Be Our Guest Restaurant. See photos and details in our separate post: Where to Meet Gaston at Mickey’s Halloween Party.

• Pluto: Entrance to Storybook Circus

Pluto greets guests throughout the evening near the entrance of Storybook Circus. We have a separate article that details where you can find him and how long you can expect to wait: Meet Pluto at Mickey’s Halloween Party in 2025.

• Daisy and Goofy in Halloween Attire: Pete’s Silly Sideshow

This duo usually meets with other classic characters during the party. However, this year, Minnie’s off with Mickey at Town Square, and Donald’s holding down the fort at PhilharMagic, so Goofy and Daisy were left to greet guests at Pete’s Silly Sideshow.

• Pooh as a Bumble Bee, Piglet as a Butterfly, Eeyore as a Clown, and Tigger as a Pirate: Pooh’s Thotful Spot

Tomorrowland

• Stitch in his Rock ‘n’ Roll Costume: Across from Monster’s Inc. Laugh Floor

Character Sightings

The following characters don’t have traditional meet-and-greets, but you can see them during the party.

• Disney Villains
  • Mother Gothel: Market Street, Party Entrance (timing varies on select nights)
  • Cruella De Vil: Market Street, Party Entrance (timing varies on select nights)

Cruella De Vil and Mother Gothel rotate at the party’s private entrance on Market Street. We’ve seen them both at varying times up until about 7:30 p.m. Note that the Market Street entrance closes at 8:00 p.m. You can read more about Mother Gothel’s and Cruella’s appearances at the party here.

• Maleficent: Princess Fairytale Hall Queue
• Evil Queen: Princess Fairytale Hall Queue

Maleficent and the Evil Queen take over Princess Fairytale Hall during the Halloween Party. This is not a traditional meet-and-greet, but you can stop and take a few photos along the trick-or-treat trail. Maleficent is on one side, and the Evil Queen is on the opposite. We walked through both sides to see them both up close.

• Haunted Mansion Residents
  • Hitchhiking Ghosts: Frontierland Balcony and the Diamond Horseshoe Stage (varies throughout the evening) 
  • Miss Carlotta, Madam Renatta, and Broome the Butler: Haunted Mansion Graveyard

• Other Disney Characters
  • Donald Duck in his Halloween Costume: Mickey’s PhilharMagic
  • Romeo McGrowl: Country Bear Musical Jamboree

Donald Duck wears a pumpkin suit in the queue of PhilharMagic during the party. This is a trick-or-treat trail where you wave to Donald and interact with him as you walk through the queue. We have a separate post with photos of Donald Duck during the Halloween Party.
