See Mickey’s Celebration Cavalcade During Disney World’s 50th Anniversary

Mickey’s Celebration Cavalcade ended in March 2023, along with the rest of Walt Disney World’s 50th-anniversary celebration. The information below is for historical reference only. This article is part of our retired character list.

Mickey’s Celebration Cavalcade is a mini pop-up parade that runs multiple times daily at Magic Kingdom Park to celebrate Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary. Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Pluto, and Chip ‘n’ Dale are among the characters in Mickey’s Celebration Cavalcade. Each character is dressed in EARidescent outfits designed to celebrate the park’s anniversary. Here is a photo of a few of the characters.

When Mickey’s Celebration Cavalcade first debuted, you could see the characters waving to guests from the Main Street, U.S.A. train station before and after the cavalcade.

Mickey Celebration Cavalcade

Like other cavalcades at Magic Kingdom, this one steps off in Frontierland near Tiana’s Bayou Adventure (the former Splash Mountain.) Then, the cavalcade continues to Liberty Square, where it moves to the hub in front of Cinderella Castle. After that, it straightens up as it heads down Main Street U.S.A.

These photos were taken at the very end of the parade route from Town Square. From there, I watched the first Festival of Fantasy Parade. Then, I met Mickey Mouse inside Town Square Theater. After that, I ran into Snow White, and the next thing I knew, Mickey’s Celebration Cavalcade was coming through. Often, I have found the longer I stay on Main Street U.S.A., the more I get to see and do. It’s no telling what magic awaits if you hang out there for a while.

Times for Mickey’s Celebration Cavalcade are usually:

  • 10:45 a.m.
  • 1:35 p.m.
  • 4:25 p.m.

For the exact time, you’ll want to check Disney’s site here or the My Disney Experience app on the day of your visit. Mickey’s Celebration Cavalcade includes several dancers who bring tons of energy even on the hottest days. I always marvel at their performances.

And it’s always fun to see Mickey Mouse! Remember, at the end of the day, it all started with a mouse.
