Meet Santa at Walt Disney Presents at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Santa has a new meet-and-greet location at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in 2025. He’s meeting guests at Walt Disney Presents, which is considered part of Animation Courtyard. We recently stopped by Hollywood Studios to meet Santa at this location. It’s an endearing setup, and those interested in meeting Santa won’t want to miss it! Below, we’ll discuss the specifics and a few tips to prepare for your visit.

Walt Disney Presents is located past The Little Mermaid: A Musical Adventure along the walkway that leads toward the main entrance of Toy Story Land. The attraction itself is a walk-through gallery tour that originally opened to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Walt’s birth. While you’re there, you might also want to check out the new exhibit featuring items from classic Disney holiday films. Beyond the new holiday exhibit, you’ll find a door with a sign above it that reads Meet Friends for the Holidays. This is where you’ll join the queue to meet Santa Claus.

The queue is gorgeous. The panel walls that create a maze of sorts while you wait have been transformed into an art gallery. Lights have been added to the frosted panels, and they constantly change colors while you wait. Artwork featuring Disney characters in holiday scenes adorns each panel. Here are a few photos of the artwork featured in Santa’s meet-and-greet queue.

Once you reach the end of the queue, you’ll see a feature wall with a hand-painted mural. This is the final waiting area before you enter the room to meet Santa. The wall has a dark backdrop with letters to Santa blowing through the wind. It’s quite charming.

But who needs to write a letter when you can meet Santa himself? Here is a photo of the actual meet-and-greet space.

The room is full of toys and other holiday props.

Santa even pointed out the toy of the year.

When I asked what was so special about the toy of the year, a cast member pointed out this poster on the wall that named it the Toy of the Year.

Next to it, we saw a mural that looked as though Santa could keep an eye on what was going on in the workshop while he was meeting guests.

Here’s Santa now.

A PhotoPass photographer is available at this location.

As you can see, it’s a wonderful meet-and-greet opportunity

Santa was meeting guests on the day of our visit between 10:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. When we joined the line, a cast member told us the wait was about 40 minutes. We ended up waiting approximately 30 minutes. This meet-and-greet is very popular, so you might find a long wait. Santa’s exact location and times are listed in the character section of the My Disney Experience app. You can use these instructions to locate him on the day of your visit.
How to Locate Characters in the My Disney Experience App
- Open the My Disney Experience app and select the pin drop at the bottom of the home screen.
- Scroll (left to right) through the icons at the top of the screen and select “Characters.”
- After selecting characters, use the locations drop-down to select the park of your choice.
- Then, on the bottom right of the screen, select “Show List.”
- Scroll through the list of characters with their times and locations.
- As an alternative, you can use the map view to locate characters.
*As the day passes, you might notice that characters disappear from the app. When their last scheduled time passes, the meet-and-greet automatically disappears. A new schedule won’t be loaded until the following day. It is essential to check the app for meet-and-greets on the day of your visit.
