You can also use this guide as a planning reference for next year’s trip. We will, however, provide a new guide when we know more about what’s to come. Holiday Offerings at Magic Kingdom in 2025
Here are the major holiday offerings you can expect to find at Magic Kingdom in 2025:
- Frozen Holiday Surprise
- Jingle Cruise
- Santa Claus Meet-and-Greet
- Christmas Parade*
- Christmas Fireworks**
- Specialty Food and Treats
- Entertainment
- Park Decorations
To be Determined:
- Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade During Christmas Week*
- Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration Offering During Christmas Week*
*These specific offerings have not been confirmed outside of the Christmas Party as of December 4, 2025.
**Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks are exclusive to the Christmas Party and are scheduled during regular park hours the week of Christmas. We discuss this in detail further below.
Other:
- Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party*
We do not cover Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party exclusively in this guide because it is a separately ticketed event held at Magic Kingdom on select evenings between November and December.

Frozen Holiday Surprise
Frozen Holiday Surprise is a magical stage show that happens every evening after sunset during the holidays. It serves as the castle lighting ceremony. The performance features Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, and Olaf from Frozen. It is a great start to an evening spent at Magic Kingdom during the holidays.
This performance is offered each evening at approximately 6:15 p.m. during the 2025 holiday season. You’ll want to find a spot somewhere inside the hub of Cinderella Castle. If you have little ones who want to see the characters, you might want to get a semi-close view. Just remember that the concrete slopes the closer you get to the castle. Therefore, the closer you are, the lower you are, meaning you have to look up a little more.
Thankfully, while the area gets somewhat crowded for the performance, you should still have enough flexibility to change locations. (That is not the case with the evening fireworks.) Overall, Frozen Holiday Surprise lasts less than 10 minutes. We suggest finding a spot at about 6:00 p.m. just so you don’t miss it.

Jingle Cruise
Jingle Cruise, known as the Jungle Cruise the rest of the year, the classic attraction features a holiday overlay with more festive skippers than usual! As Disney puts it, step into a boat and allow a trusty skipper to navigate it down the dangerous waters deep in the Amazon. The only difference is that you’ll be traveling during the holiday season. So you can anticipate a few holiday gags on that 10-minute, 10,000-mile journey down the Nile River.
This attraction is always popular, but even more so during the holiday season. If you’re purchasing Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you might consider this as one of your selections. It is not uncommon to see waits of up to an hour for his ride, and probably worse, during the week of Christmas.
As far as the best time to ride, you could rope drop this ride at park opening. Adventureland does not open for early entry. You might also try to ride it when the afternoon parade is coming through. The entire area is cut off, so wait times tend to drop in this specific land during the parade.

Meet Santa Claus at Magic Kingdom
Santa meets during regular park hours at Magic Kingdom. In 2025, his meet and greet began on Thanksgiving and will last through Christmas Eve. You can find him at Storybook Circus! His listing has been added to the My Disney Experience app. We have a separate article here that details Santa’s Storybook Circus location at Magic Kingdom.

Magic Kingdom’s Christmas Parade
Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is exclusive to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, with two exceptions. The parade is typically offered a couple of times in early November when it’s filmed for ABC’s Christmas Day special. This is done after the Christmas decorations have been installed. We have a video of the 2025 Magic Kingdom Christmas Parade from the day it was filmed.
You can usually see the parade if you’re visiting the week between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day. Historically, the Christmas parade is offered in place of the Festival of Fantasy Parade. Unfortunately, as of early December, the Christmas parade has not been added to Magic Kingdom’s regular schedule in 2025. You’ll want to keep an eye out for it if you’re visiting the week of Christmas. However, Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away (the new nighttime parade) will be offered twice nightly during the holidays except for nights of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

Magic Kingdom Holiday Fireworks
Minnie’s Wonderfultime Christmas Fireworks are similar to the parade in that they are exclusive to Mickey’s Very Christmas Party through the last night of the party. Then, they replace Happily Ever After during the week of Christmas. In 2025, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks are offered at Magic Kingdom during regular park hours on the following evenings:
- Monday, December 22, 2025 (8:30 p.m.)
- Tuesday, December 23, 2025 (8:30 p.m.)
- Wednesday, December 24, 2025 (8:30 p.m.)
- Thursday, December 25, 2025 (8:30 p.m.)
- Friday, December 26, 2025 (8:30 p.m.)
- Saturday, December 27, 2025 (8:30 p.m.)
- Sunday, December 28, 2025 (8:30 p.m.)
- Monday, December 29, 2025 (8:30 p.m.)
We’ve put together a list of this year’s holiday fireworks changes at Magic Kingdom if you want more information. It includes the New Year’s Eve schedule and the return of Happily Ever After after the holidays.

Specialty Food and Beverages for the Holidays
Whether you want a Mickey Whoopie Pie or a plate of Holiday Beef Pot Roast, you’ll find a variety of special food and beverage items this holiday season at Magic Kingdom. We’ve put together a foodie guide with photos of this year’s holiday treats at Magic Kingdom. It includes pictures of each item and location details. Here is a picture featuring a few treats.

While our foodie guide above lists many items at both quick service and table service restaurants, it does not cover the treats you can find at shops like the Confectionery and Big Top Souvenirs. So when this year’s items first debuted, I walked through both locations to put together a photo guide of these specific treats. The picture below shows the two Mickey-shaped holiday cookies, Minnie Mouse cupcakes with green bows, coated cereal treats, and candy apples with marshmallow Mickey ears!

Park Decorations
In 2025, Main Street U.S.A., Fantasyland, Liberty Square, and Frontierland all offer exquisite holiday decor! Since the start of the holidays, I took the time to walk through each land and photograph the decor. We have separate photo posts with hundreds of pictures of all this year’s Christmas decorations at Magic Kingdom. Let’s take a look at what to expect, and I’ll highlight the individual guides below if you want to see more photos of a specific land.
We’ll start with our photo walk through Frontierland and Liberty Square. Here, we found everything from rustic to colonial-inspired decorations. Even The Hall of Presidents felt very regal and traditional.

Here is a closer look at the garland. Other stands within the area featured Victorian-era touches. You can see all of the photos of this year’s Frontierland and Liberty Square decorations in this photo guide.

Fantasyland also showed up for Christmas in 2025. We don’t usually see too many decorations in this area of the park. The Christmas decor near the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train was one of our favorites this year. This entire area featured cutesy decorations representing the beloved Seven Dwarfs.

Nearby at The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, you’ll find a pretty display of oversized gifts. Each one is tagged for a special friend like Pooh, Tigger, Rabbit, and Eeyore. Don’t miss the Heffalump bees hanging on the entrance sign. Someone had quite the imagination in coming up with that design. You can see them all in this year’s photo report of the Fantasyland Christmas decorations.

While you’re in Fantasyland, don’t forget to stop by and check out the new holiday decorations in Storybook Circus! They feature Dumbo and Timothy Mouse!

Of course, Main Street U.S.A. is the merriest place to take in the sights and sounds. We mention it a lot on this website, but you can spend a couple of hours walking up and down the street, seeing the Dapper Dans perform in holiday attire, and enjoying a delicious oversized treat from the Confectionery. It’s so calming to sit in a rocking chair on the porch of Town Square Theater and take everything in for a while. I cannot recommend it enough. Here are just a few photos from the 2025 season.

Our photo report of this year’s Main Street U.S.A.’s Christmas decor is by far the largest, with well over 50 photos taken in the first two weeks of November.

We hope you’re able to check out some of the holiday offerings at Magic Kingdom this holiday season! For more on Christmas, see our entire 2025 holiday guide!
