Meet Mickey and Minnie Together at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

Mickey and Minnie Mouse are meeting together during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party for the first time in a long time. The pair meets in Town Square Theater near the entrance of Magic Kingdom Park. They wear matching holiday outfits at this location. You may remember that they also met together here during the Halloween Party.

This was our last traditional meet-and-greet of the evening, and we intentionally saved it until the end of the night. I planned to watch the last parade come down Main Street, U.S.A., and then get in line to meet Mickey and Minnie Mouse. However, it was an unseasonably cold evening, so I ended up getting in line at 11:00 p.m. exactly. At that point, the wait was posted at 45 minutes, but at least it was a warm place to wait.

Town Square Theater is on the immediate right when you enter the park. This is the traditional place to meet Mickey Mouse (the magician) at Magic Kingdom. On party days, he meets here until 6:00 p.m. Then he breaks to get ready for the party. He returns with Minnie Mouse at 7:00 p.m. and they meet until midnight. The estimated wait time for this meet-and-greet is posted outside the entrance.

Once you step inside the theater, you continue straight to join the queue.

Here, you’ll want to be careful to join the right queue. Jack Skellington (Sandy Claws) meets with Sally at this location. So one queue is to meet them, and the other is for Mickey and Minnie Mouse.

Each queue has a sign on the side of it, but it can be easy to overlook, especially when you’re tired and cold.

We waited and waited. It was 11:47 p.m. exactly when we met them. Granted, the posted wait time was pretty accurate.

Similar to the Anna and Elsa holiday meet-and-greet, this location does not have a PhotoPass Photographer. Instead, it has one of those dreadful photo boxes that automatically takes random pictures the entire time you’re standing there. Meeting Mickey and Minnie Mouse is a pretty big deal, especially in their holiday costumes. It would be so much better if this location offered a real photographer.

To help keep things moving along, Mickey and Minnie do not sign autographs at this location. They do, however, offer an autograph card with their signature. It features the red Christmas tree truck scene that’s similar to what we saw with this year’s party popcorn bucket.

This is an incredible opportunity to meet Mickey and Minnie Mouse. If we had to choose only one meet-and-greet for the party, this would be the one. If you’re hoping for a decent picture, though, you might consider getting in line earlier in the evening. By this late at night, you might feel tired and look worn out. Everyone around us was happy to meet the couple, but it was obvious we were all exhausted!

No matter when you meet them, they are both worth the wait.

This location is listed on the party map and should be listed in the My Disney Experience app on the evening of your visit. They will likely have a long line for the majority of the night.

Here are a few of the other characters we met at this year’s party:

  • Meet Moana at Mickey’s Christmas Party
  • Meet Polar Bears at Storybook Circus During Mickey’s Christmas Party
  • Meet Pluto Near the Barnstormer at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party
  • Meet Donald and Daisy Duck with Scrooge at Mickey’s Christmas Party
