Details for Mickey’s Not So Spooky Spectacular Dessert Parties at Magic Kingdom (2025)

As you likely know, fireworks dessert parties are a thing at Magic Kingdom. They offer a special opportunity for guests to have a dedicated viewing area for the evening fireworks while enjoying specially prepared desserts and beverages. Ticketed guests have a choice of booking two dessert parties on nights of Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party in 2025. One offering is slightly more expensive than the other.

Below, we’ll discuss the details of each party. Similar to party-specific table service reservations in 2025, reservations for both fireworks dessert parties go on sale for Disney Resort hotel guests starting June 12, 2025. Per Disney, all other guests will be able to book reservations starting June 16, 2025. This year’s Halloween Party takes place on select evenings between August 15th to October 31, 2025. You must have a party ticket to secure reservations for one of the dessert parties.

Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing

The first of the two parties offers guests the opportunity to watch the fireworks from the Plaza Garden Viewing Area. This viewing area is a dedicated fenced lawn that sits between The Plaza Restaurant and Cinderella Castle.

Guests of either party can enjoy a buffet of desserts and beverages at the Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant. Per Disney, items include chocolate-dipped strawberries, mini cannoli, a variety of cheese, and other chef-inspired creations. Beverages are also available, including a selection of beer and wine for guests who are 21 years old and over (must have a valid ID).

Disney lists the following event details and prices for the Plaza Garden Viewing during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party:

  • Location: Dessert party held at Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant at Magic Kingdom park, with fireworks viewing in the Plaza Garden
  • Time: Check in at the entrance to Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant 1.5 hours before the fireworks begin.
  • Price: $99.00 (including tax and gratuity) for guests ages 10 and older; $59.00 (including tax and gratuity) for guests ages 3 to 9 years old.

Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace

The second option is the Tomorrowland Terrace fireworks viewing area. This location is slightly more expensive and allows guests to watch the fireworks from their table in the Tomorrowland Terrace viewing area. Both parties utilize the same buffet and beverage areas, so you won’t find any difference in offerings.

Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Viewing Location during Halloween Party

Here are the event details that Disney notes for the Tomorrowland Terrace viewing area:

  • Location: Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant
  • Time: Check in at the entrance to Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant 1 hour before the fireworks begin.
  • Price: $119.00 (including tax and gratuity) for guests ages 10 and older; $75.00 (including tax and gratuity) for guests ages 3 to 9 years old.

Disney also notes the following important details for both parties on their website.

  • A valid admission ticket for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on the same night is required and is not included in the price of the dessert party.
  • This dessert party is only offered during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, which takes place on select nights August 15 through October 31, 2025. Advance reservations are highly recommended.
  • There is a one-day cancellation policy. Full price will be charged/forfeited if the Guest cancels within one day or is a “no show” for the reservation.
  • This experience does not allow for modifications once the reservation is confirmed. Learn more about the reservation cancellation policy.
  • In the event of inclement weather, the fireworks may be delayed or cancelled. The dessert party will take place rain or shine, even if the fireworks are cancelled.
  • Credential identification is non-transferable and will not be replaced if lost or stolen.
  • This offer may not be combined with any other discounts or promotions.
  • All entertainment and experiences are subject to change without notice.

Is it Worth it?

We are not big fans of the extra time and cost involved in attending a dessert party on top of the Halloween Party. While we haven’t done this particular dessert party, we have done a few similar offerings over the years. As far as I can recall, we have always enjoyed these types of extras. We would just prefer to do them on a regular park day and not in addition to a day where we were already paying extra for something, such as a party ticket. I hope that helps.
