Disney’s Boardwalk Restaurants Guide
Disney’s BoardWalk has multiple options when it comes to dining, especially table-service restaurants. As you likely know, the BoardWalk comes to life in the evening. It’s a wonderful place to visit for a meal, sunset stroll, or both. Whether you’re staying at the resort or visiting with the intention of having a meal, you’ll want to be aware of your options.
Below, we’ll review the restaurants at Disney’s Boardwalk, including quick-service locations, table-service restaurants, lounges, and the pool bar. So grab a pen and paper to take a few notes. We’re off to one of our favorite locations at Disney World to survey the dining scene.

Boardwalk Deli
The Boardwalk Deli is the resort’s dedicated quick-service dining location and our first stop for dining on Disney’s Boardwalk.

- Hours: 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.

The Deli is not your average Disney quick service. It’s strictly a place to pick up a meal and take it elsewhere to enjoy. No interior seating is available. However, outdoor tables and chairs are usually available on the Boardwalk. They provide an excellent place to enjoy a meal when the weather is pleasant. (Emphasis should be placed on the word when. The Deli serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Its hours might fluctuate depending on the season. So you’ll want to check the exact hours of operation during your visit.
Disney’s Boardwalk Deli has a few bagel sandwiches, pastries, and a plant-based option for breakfast. Pastries include items like croissants, muffins, scones, and bagels. Here is a photo showing some of the selections.
You’ll find a similar setup during lunch and dinner with various sandwiches, soups, and salads. Kids’ meals are also available. Again, the items are pretty limited. However, we have eaten here several times and enjoyed the food we’ve tried. We only wish more choices were available here or along the Boardwalk.
Here is a look inside the Deli.
If you stay at the Boardwalk Inn, you can purchase and refill Rapid Fill mugs at the Deli. Unfortunately, this is the only location where mugs can be refilled at the hotel. So if it’s raining or whatever the reason, you must exit the hotel, walk the length of the lawn, and down the Boardwalk to refill your mug. (Cast members will refill mugs at the pool bar, but it does not have a self-service beverage station.)

A sink is available next to the beverage area to rinse your mug.
Here are a few of those tables and chairs on the Boardwalk. While you dine, you can enjoy views of the Epcot Resorts Area.
Carousel Coffee
Carousel Coffee is the Boardwalk’s coffee shop. It is off the hotel’s lobby in the former Dundy’s Sundries location. The shop’s hours have fluctuated since it first opened.

Carousel Coffee offers a selection of pastries and specialty coffee. Signature items include the crunchy raspberry Danish and the New Jersey crumb cake.
A lobby area across from the coffee shop’s entrance doubles as a sitting area.
Pizza Window
Disney’s Boardwalk has a quick-service walk-up called Pizza Window. This location typically offers two kinds of pizza: pepperoni or cheese. (They might have an additional specialty offering.)

If you’ve ever had a slice of pizza at Disney World, you already know what to expect. Unfortunately, the pizza here is not of the best quality. Given the area’s location and busyness, they could do so much better. It’s probably not the worst pizza you’ve ever had, and it will do if you need something quick to eat.
If you’re staying in one of the villas at Disney’s Boardwalk and have access to a kitchen, you might consider adding frozen pizza to your grocery order. I hate to say it, but the frozen pizza will likely be better and cheaper than Pizza Window.
Boardwalk Ice Cream
Boardwalk Ice Cream is next to the Boardwalk Deli. They offer a variety of sweet treats, ranging from a scoop of ice cream to Mickey Mouse sundaes.
- Location: Near the Boardwalk Deli
- Hours: 3:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. (Opens at noon on weekends)
- Disney: Menu with Prices
- Need to Know: This location does not accept Disney Dining Plans.
Here are a few of the menu items:
- Cones (Cake or Sugar)
- Ride the Wave Sundae – Three Scoops
- Shoreside Sundae
- Strawberry Splash Shortcake
- The Classic Wave of Double Scoop – Ice Cream Cup
- Surf’s Up Sundae – Two Scoops
- Bayside Brownie À la Mode
- Thundering Surf Peanut Butter and Chocolate Sundae
- Mickey Kitchen Sink Sundae
The brownie a la mode, strawberry shortcake, and kitchen sink are among the most popular treats. However, if you want a diner-style meal with ice cream for dessert, try to get a reservation or walk up to the Beaches and Cream Soda Shop. It’s only a short walk away at Disney’s Beach Club Resort.
Boardwalk Joe’s Marvelous Margaritas
Boardwalk Joe’s Marvelous Margaritas is a stand on the Boardwalk that serves various margaritas, including the Marvelous Watermelon Margarita and the Patron Disney Select Anejo Margarita.
- Location: On the Boardwalk
- Hours: 12:00 p.m. until 12:00 a.m.
- Disney: Menu with Prices
Joe’s has a few snack items like nachos, a Mickey pretzel, and a Jalapeño stuffed pretzel. Sounds like the perfect Boardwalk snack, right? Joe’s is open daily from noon until midnight.
Belle Vue Lounge
Belle Vue Lounge is the primary lounge at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn. It is on the opposite side of the staircase leading to the Boardwalk.
- Location: Off the Boardwalk Lobby
- Hours: 4:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
- Disney: Menu with Prices
Belle Vue Lounge offers Disney’s standard cocktail menu. Unfortunately, this location doesn’t have food offerings. However, they do have a few signature drinks like:
- Belle Vue Cosmopolitan
- Straight Up Margarita
- Orange Blossom Manhattan
They also have an extensive list of champagne, white wine, red wine, beer, whiskey (Scotch and American), Cognac, Port, Rum, and Tequila.
Abracadabar
If you enjoy magicians and similar entertainment, you’ll love Abracadabar. Yes, that’s like Abracadabra, except with the word “bar” at the end.
- Location: On the Boardwalk
- Hours: 4:00 p.m. until 12:00 a.m.
- Disney: Menu with Prices
This magician-themed bar offers appetizers, including charcuterie, chips with dip, and similar items. The bar is most known for its elaborate cocktail menu. Elixirs, magic tricks, and illusions are the name of the game at Abracadabar.
Leaping Horse Libations
Leaping Horse Libations is the pool bar at Boardwalk’s Luna Park Pool. This fun pool bar is themed to resemble a carousel and is open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

- Hours: 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. (Hours May Vary)

While Leaping Horse Libations has a full cocktail and beverage menu, there isn’t much in the way of food offerings.
Trattoria al Forno
Next on our list of Boardwalk restaurants is Trattoria al Forno, an Italian restaurant that serves breakfast and dinner.
- Location: On the Boardwalk
- Breakfast Hours: 7:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
- Dinner Hours: 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.
- Disney: Menu with Prices
Elevated dishes like oak-grilled steak and eggs, a sunrise breakfast pizza, and Tiramisu bread pudding are available during breakfast. Guests can also request to dine on the Boardwalk based on availability. For dinner, the restaurant serves a variety of Italian entrees, pizzas, kids’ meals, and more.
*Trattoria al Forno formerly offered a character breakfast called The Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast, which included the opportunity to meet Ariel and Prince Eric with Rapunzel and Flynn Rider. This meal is no longer available.
Flying Fish
Flying Fish is the Boardwalk’s signature restaurant. This location consistently receives five-star reviews and is one of the most coveted dining reservations at Walt Disney World.
- Location: On the Boardwalk
- Hours: 5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
- Disney: Menu with Prices
Advanced reservations are highly recommended for this location. But they will take walk-ups based on availability. Flying Fish’s dress code asks that guests dress in “attire that respects the restaurant’s sophisticated and upscale aesthetic.” Since it’s Disney, you can expect most guests to wear casual to dressier clothes for this type of restaurant. Flying Fish offers a seasonal menu.
If you use the Disney Dining Plan, this location will require two table service credits per guest. This is standard at most fine dining and some character meals.
Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs
Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs has a kiosk on Disney’s Boardwalk. They are famous for their pickle and peanut butter corn dogs and have several other unique flavor combinations.
- Location: On the Boardwalk
- Hours: 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. (Open until 11:00 p.m. most weekends.)

Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs offers a variety of corn dogs, lemonade, and cotton candy. A kid’s corn dog is also available.
The Cake Bake Shop
The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers is a table-service restaurant with an adjoining bakery shop where guests can purchase a slice of cake and other treats. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner and offers afternoon tea service.
- Location: On the Boardwalk
- Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

- Other: Dining Plans Not Accepted
Restaurants Near Disney’s Boardwalk
While many guests visit Disney’s Boardwalk as a destination, those staying at the resort might like to consider other nearby restaurants. For instance, Disney’s Boardwalk is within walking distance (or a boat ride) of the following locations:
- Epcot
- Disney’s Beach Club Resort
- Disney’s Yacht Club Resort
- Disney’s Swan and Dolphin Resort
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Of course, you’ll need valid theme park admission for Epcot and Hollywood Studios. You can get a walk-up reservation for the nearby resorts or easily acquire reservations at most table-service restaurants.
Between Disney’s Beach and Yacht Club, we enjoy Ale and Compass for breakfast and have a separate dinner review. In the evenings, you might also enjoy a quick service meal from Beach Club Marketplace or a seafood buffet from Cape May Cafe. Additionally, Cape May Cafe hosts Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast. Martha’s Vineyard, Beach Club’s lounge, has an excellent early evening menu with appetizers and entrees. We love their seafood chowder.
Disney’s Swan and Dolphin has several dining options. For table service, you might consider having a meal at The Fountains. However, if you’re looking for fine dining, you don’t want to miss Shula’s Steakhouse. Additionally, Rosa Mexicano is an excellent option. Final Thoughts
Besides the lack of counter-service restaurants, Disney’s Boardwalk has excellent dining options. Those planning a stay might consider park-hopper tickets for access to dining at the nearby theme parks.
For instance, when we stay in the area, we enjoy dining at Epcot’s Via Napoli. You might spend the day at one park and then hop to Epcot for dinner and fireworks later. As for after-dinner nightlife on the Boardwalk, you might consider visiting Atlantic Dance Hall.
