Laundry Facilities at Disney’s Caribbean Beach

If the need arises to do laundry during your stay at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, you have options. Each guest village has a laundry room adjacent to its quiet pool. In total, Caribbean Beach has five laundry facilities. Below, we’ll preview the laundry facilities and details you’ll need to know ahead of your trip.

Laundry rooms are located in the following villages at Disney’s Caribbean Beach.

• Aruba
• Jamaica
• Martinique
• Barbados
• Trinidad

The only place you won’t find a laundry room at Caribbean Beach is Old Port Royale, where the resort’s lobby, dining, and feature pool are located. You will need your MagicBand or Key to the World card to access the laundry room.

Therefore, when you stay at Disney’s Caribbean Beach, you might plan to enjoy some time at the pool while you’re doing laundry. I don’t know about you, but if I stay at any resort for more than a few days, I end up doing laundry.

Previously, the resorts used a service called Laundry View. However, Disney now uses a service called My GSCO. You’ll have to download the app and pay with your phone to do laundry. Or you can scan the QR code on the machine and pay directly without downloading the app. (The app is much easier if you have more than one load of laundry.) Laundry costs $3.50 per cycle. During our last stay, we received a 0.25 discount for downloading the app, which made the cost $3.25 per load.

The instructions on the sign below read:

1. Momentarily tap the machine sticker with your NFC-capable smartphone or scan a machine code with your smartphone camera or QR code.
2. Pay with Google Pay, Apple Pay, or a credit card.
3. Load the machine and press start.

Each load costs $3.50 per cycle. So, one load of laundry typically costs $7.00. A separate vending machine sells detergent and fabric softener for $1.00 per package. Make sure to look at the label on the detergent. They are usually suitable for two loads of laundry. This vending machine takes credit and debit cards.

Each laundry room at Caribbean Beach has approximately eight washers and ten dryers. Tables are provided in the center of the room for guests to fold their laundry.

Additionally, each laundry room has a vending machine. So, if you need a quick snack and don’t want to walk to Old Port Royale, you might check the machine inside the laundry room.

We like to do laundry on a resort day when we plan to sleep late. After getting up, I’ll start a load of laundry, and then we’ll pick up lunch and enjoy it at the pool. When we’ve finished eating, it’s time to move the laundry to the dryer. Later, we might head out to the resort’s feature pool for the rest of the afternoon. Sometimes, laundry days at Disney turn out to be the most relaxing ones.
