The Tangled Mural at Disney’s Riviera Resort (Photo Gallery)
Disney’s Riviera Resort has two custom murals that greet guests near the Skyliner entrance. One of those murals represents Disney’s animated film Tangled. It’s commonly referred to as the Tangled mural. Whether you’re staying at the resort or visiting for dining or a resort-hop, you’ll likely want to take the time to admire it.
The mural is displayed in a tunnel along the dedicated walkway to and from the Skyliner. You can’t miss it. However, if you’re visiting by bus or walking over from Disney’s Caribbean Beach, you’ll need to walk to the Riviera’s Skyliner Station to access it.

A pair of fountains sits inside the tunnel, one for each mural.

One side of the mural features Rapunzel’s tower. Above the archway, the mosaic mural creates a sky filled with floating lanterns. You may remember from the movie that Rapunzel’s parents had the kingdom release the lanterns each year on her birthday in hopes that they would help guide her home.

The opposite side of the mural features the Kingdom of Corona.

The mural is worth taking the time to see, especially if you’re a Tangled fan. I’ll admit, though, that it is a little more dreamy at night with its soft purple glow. Here are a few more photos.

A Peter Pan mural sits adjacent to the Tangled one. It’s well-worth taking the time to see. We’ll eventually share a photo gallery of it in a separate article.
