Housekeeping

Guests staying at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort receive daily housekeeping service. From our experience, housekeeping typically includes the following: replacing towels and toiletries, cleaning bathrooms, making beds, trash and recycling removal, vacuuming, and tidying up in general.

You might also be surprised to find extra magical touches upon return to your room. We’ve been treated to a few towel animals and special arrangements of our Disney plushes. It’s always a nice gesture when the cast members go out of their way to make your hotel room feel more like “home.”

Resort Laundry

Disney’s Yacht Club has two laundry facilities. The resort’s primary laundry room sits next to the Admiral Pool. A secondary laundry room is available nearby on the resort’s first floor. Hey Disney! is a magical voice assistant that was created specifically for the Walt Disney World Resort. This in-room device can assist you in the following ways:

  • Wake you with a message from Mickey Mouse and pals
  • Order you more towels
  • Tell you jokes, play you stories, or host a game of Disney trivia
  • Answer Common Questions (Like, Hey Disney, when does Epcot open?)

*If you don’t want to use the voice assistant, you can always unplug it upon arrival.

Gift Shop

The Market at Ale and Compass is part quick-service restaurant, part gift shop. Our latest photo report shares details of what was available on our last stay. We update these reports about every two to three years, so our readers will have an idea of what they can pick up on a whim without having to leave the resort or make a run to the store.
