Disney’s Yacht Club Resort’s Bus Schedule with Travel Times
One of the perks of staying at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is having complimentary bus service to and from select theme parks and Disney Springs. While you’ll find multiple transportation options at the resort, some destinations require a bus ride. So for this article, we’ll focus specifically on the resort’s bus schedule, including average travel times and what to expect during your stay.
Those staying at Disney’s Yacht Club will have access to several forms of complimentary transportation from the resort: the Skyliner, boats, buses, and walking paths. (You can walk or boat to Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios from this resort!)
Regarding the buses, you’ll need to take them when visiting the Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney Springs. Yacht Club shares a bus service with the neighboring Beach Club and BoardWalk for Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Disney Springs. You’ll have two extra stops when traveling to those destinations, but you’ll be the first drop-off on the return trip. This is how the routes work:
- Disney’s Yacht Club (Board Bus)
- Disney’s Beach Club (1st Stop)
- Disney’s BoardWalk (2nd Stop)
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom (Destination)
on the return trip
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom (Board Bus)
- Disney’s Yacht Club (1st Stop)
- Disney’s Beach Club (2nd Stop)
- Disney’s BoardWalk (Last Stop)
*Extra buses service the resorts first thing in the morning when more people travel to the parks. So you won’t have to worry about extra stops until a little later in the day.
Yacht Club’s bus stop is to the left, almost immediately outside the resort’s front entrance. The entire stop is under a covered pavilion with a couple of benches.

Here are our average bus travel times from the Yacht Club. It’s important to note that these times do not include how long we waited for the bus. Wait times signs are available at the resort bus stop, indicating when the next bus will arrive. The times below are how long it takes to get from the resort to the destination. They are the average of several trips and do not consider extenuating circumstances like significant traffic. Also, remember our travel times include the extra stop at Disney’s Beach Club (and sometimes Boardwalk) for each route.
Buses From: | To: | Time: |
---|---|---|
Yacht Club | Magic Kingdom | 19 minutes |
Yacht Club | Animal Kingdom | 24 minutes |
