Disney Announces 2026 Blizzard Beach Water Park Reopening Date

Walt Disney World has announced an opening date for Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park in 2026. After its routine seasonal closure, the water park will welcome guests back beginning February 15, 2026. Guests will once again be able to enjoy the park’s signature attractions, including Summit Plummet, the family-friendly Steamboat Springs, and the wave pool at Melt-Away Bay! This reopening comes just in time for Spring Break and the warmer months ahead!

As you likely know, Disney’s water parks are open somewhat seasonally. Typically, we see both Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon close for extended refurbishments. With this announcement comes a closure notice for Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon, which will close for refurbishment on February 14th, 2026.
