Disney World Monthly Snapshot: July 2025
July is going to be a busy month at Walt Disney World. The month starts off with a bang (literally) in terms of the 4th of July holiday. It is one of my favorite times to visit. Many guests will tell you that the parks are packed, but we have found in recent years that it’s only slightly more busy than the average day. Of course, someone who doesn’t visit often might have a difficult time discerning between a day with low crowds versus extreme ones. To the average guest, a regular day at Magic Kingdom might feel busy even if you visit on the slowest day of the year. I hope that’s fair.
While this isn’t a crowd calendar by any means, I felt the need to address the “crowd situtation” for July. Yes, it is likely that more people will show up on the 3rd and 4th to participate in holiday festivities. But I wouldn’t go into my visit expecting the worse. If you have a bad attitude or anxiety about facing long lines before you arrive, it won’t make anything better. If you were to ask my best advice for visiting over the holiday, it would be three-fold:
- Hydrate ahead of time and plan to stay hydrated during your trip. (This is so important.)
- Take breaks as needed. Check-in with everyone in your party often. Some might need more breaks than others.
- Have fun and take advantage of the holiday offerings! You’re going at a special time of the year and will be privy to select offerings that only happen for the holiday.
Here’s what we have for July so far:
