Operating Hours Now Available for ‘The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure’ at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Disney has recently published hours of operation for the new stage show, The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure, at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This new entertainment offering is scheduled to open on May 27th. Currently, hours of operation for the new production are posted between 9:15 a.m. and 7:15 p.m. Typically, this means the first performance will likely begin at 9:15 a.m. and the last performance will start at approximately 7:15 p.m.
Disney has not published the actual runtime for the new stage show. If we were to guess, each performance will probably run somewhere around 15 to 20 minutes. We’ll know more when the show debuts in a few weeks. As always, you’ll want to check the My Disney Experience app on the day of your visit for exact showtimes. Here is a quick tutorial. We recommend practicing before your vacation.
How to Check Entertainment Showtimes in the My Disney Experience App
- Open the My Disney Experience app and select the pin drop at the bottom of the home screen.
- Scroll (left to right) through the icons at the top of the screen and select “Entertainment.”
- After selecting entertainment, use the locations drop-down to select the park of your choice.
- Then, on the bottom right of the screen, select “Show List.”
- Scroll through the list of entertainment options and select the desired one.
- *As an alternative to the list view, you can use the map view.
As a special treat, Disney recently surprised the cast with a special appearance from Jodi Benson, who, as you may know, is the original voice of Ariel, the Little Mermaid. It’s an endearing moment.
More Coming to Hollywood Studios This Summer
If you’ve been following along, you’re likely aware that Hollywood Studios will see many changes in the following months. For starters, areas of Grand Ave are undergoing a phased, permanent closure. Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano closed permanently on May 10th. The last day to experience Muppet*Vision 3D and PizzeRizzo will be June 7, 2025.
On a more positive note, Villains: Unfairly Ever After, another new stage show, will open the same day (May 27th) as The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure. Additionally, Disney’s Hollywood Studios will have several special offerings to celebrate a Cool Kid Summer between May 27th and September 1st.
