Muppets Takeover Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in 2026
Disney announced that the Muppets Takeover of Rock ‘n’ Roller will debut at Disney’s Hollywood Studios sometime in 2026. An exact opening date for the newly themed attraction has not been given at this time. In their statement, Disney also shared that the current Aerosmith version of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster will remain open through the remainder of 2025.
As you likely know, today (June 7, 2025) is the last day to experience Muppet*Vision 3D at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Both the Muppets attraction and Pizzerizzo will permanently close today to make way for construction to soon begin on a Monsters, Inc.-themed land. Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano closed earlier last month.
Little is known about the Muppets new takeover at this time. When the attraction was first announced, Disney stated that The Muppets would team up with some of music’s biggest stars for a rockin’ music festival. It was also noted that they would bring new energy to the roller coaster. It will be the first ever ride to feature them.
