New Offerings to Debut at Epcot’s International Festival of the Holidays in 2024

You’ll be privy to exclusive, unique holiday offerings if you visit Epcot during the International Festival of the Holidays. We’ve already discussed the majority of the returning items. However, Disney has announced that several new offerings will debut at this year’s festival. You’ll likely want to add some of them to your list!

Spaceship Earth Gingerbread Display

Per Disney, a new holiday gingerbread creation will be on display inside CommuniCore Hall at Epcot. Here are the details from Disney:

The creative minds of the EPCOT Festival Team and Walt Disney Imagineering paired up with the delicious skills of the EPCOT Pastry team to create something truly grand and miraculous – an 8-foot-tall gingerbread display inspired by Spaceship Earth. The geodesic sphere, made up of hundreds of handcrafted gingerbread triangles, will be on display inside CommuniCore Hall for all guests to see and enjoy throughout the festival. And, just like its park icon counterpart, the gingerbread version will also light up and dance to music periodically throughout the day. You can discover the next dancing lights performance of this tasty creation with a countdown, courtesy of the Celebration Countdown presented by CITIZEN!

Glittering Grove

Communicore Hall is expected to be decorated with holiday decor and an enchanting forest called Glittering Grove. Here’s what Disney has to say about this offering:

Once you’ve finished marveling at the gingerbread Spaceship Earth, stroll around CommuniCore Hall to take in beautiful, seasonal décor inspired by the unique design of EPCOT. Enjoy an enchanting forest with the Glittering Grove presented by Balsam Hill, where twinkling trees bring festive flair.

New Holiday Kitchens

Two new holiday kitchens will be available at Communicore Hall.

• Experimental Prototype Cookies of Tomorrow
• Favorites of Festivals Past

Experimental Prototype Cookies of Tomorrow will offer the same gingerbread triangles used to construct the Spaceship Earth display. A holiday decorating kit will also be available at this location.

Snowflake Activity

A new, complimentary snowflake-decorating activity will be available at CommuniCore Plaza. Disney notes that this activity is perfect for children of all ages.

Scentsy Snowglobe Garden

A snow globe garden inspired by Scetsy’s seasonal aromas will be available along the walkway between the Imagination Pavilion and the World Showcase. Guests can stroll through the garden and check out the new seasonal display. You’ll also be able to purchase holiday fragrances inside CommuniCore Hall.
