New Entrance and Preshow Concept Art for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets
A while ago, we learned that The Muppets would take over the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at some point in 2026. Today, Disney shared a little clearer idea of what fans can expect regarding the attraction’s entrance and preshow. We’ll start with the larger-than-life guitar that sits in front of the attraction’s entrance. Per the concept art, it looks like the guitar will receive a new paint job and some wording indicating you’ve arrived at the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets. Again, this is only concept art, so things could change. Currently, however, this new look is what’s anticipated.

Disney also shared concept art for the preshow, which will feature The Electric Mayhem. Here’s some of the backstory regarding this scene.
The Electric Mayhem are headlining their biggest Hollywood concert ever! Anyone who’s anyone is in attendance to witness Animal, Dr. Teeth, and the rest of this groove-tastic group rock the house down. There’s just one little problem: the band is nowhere to be found!
Across town at G-Force Records, we’re treated to a VIP tour of the legendary rock and roll recording studio. Things might look a little different around this Hollywood institution, as the label has recently come under new management – The Muppets! We’re happy to say that our colorful crew has landed some new digs… with just a little help from Scooter’s uncle, real estate tycoon and owner of the Muppet Theatre, J.P. Grosse (he really puts the G in G-Force). Just wait until you see how they’ve made these hallowed halls their own, creating the perfect place to make sweet, sweet Muppet music together!

While Disney hasn’t announced a specific closing date for the current attraction, the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith, it is expected to remain open through the end of 2025. For other news and announcements, you might like the following:
