If You Want to Skip the Lines on Christmas at Walt Disney World This is What It Will Cost You in 2024
We’re only a few weeks away from Walt Disney World’s busiest week of the year. As you may know, early December is one of the most pleasant times to visit the theme parks and resorts. The weather is often ideal (although it’s not at this very minute), and crowds are lighter. However, crowds become increasingly worse as the month progresses. As schools let out for the holidays, more and more guests travel to Orlando for Christmas at Walt Disney World. You can start to feel the crush by around the 21st, with peak crowds reaching their max between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day. (But don’t be fooled into thinking that the parks are slow crowd-wise after the holidays. It’s a common misconception.)
Now more than ever, you’ll likely want to pay to use Disney’s skip-the-line offering. However, with demand being so high, you can expect two things: record prices and less availability. So, let’s look at how much it will cost to skip the lines on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day this holiday season.

As you can see from our chart, prices are at their highest for each offering. The Magic Kingdom Multi Pass runs $39.00 daily on the 24th and 25th. The same Magic Kingdom pass is priced between $29.00 and $35.00 a day on most days in December.
The Multi Pass offering at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is also notable. Early in the month, the cost starts at $24.00 per day. It continues to increase in small increments until it reaches a whopping $35.00 for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
For most of the individual Lightning Lane attractions, the holiday dates see a $1.00 to $2.00 increase. While these increases aren’t necessarily unreasonable, for a family of four, you’re looking at an extra $4.00 to $8.00 per day per ride.
Ultimately, you’ll have to pay the price if you want to skip the lines. Unfortunately, the price will be much higher over the holidays. But you probably already knew that.
