The Perch Opening Date Announced For Disney’s Grand Floridian

Disney has announced the opening date for the new birdcage themed bar at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. Officially called The Perch, the bar will open on November 10th.

In case you missed it, we’ve had extensive coverage of the construction progress of the new bar and other lobby updates. In fact, our last update was earlier this morning with photos taken from this week.

Disney announced earlier this year that the lobby would be completely renovated with construction starting in mid April. Since then, new carpet, furnishings, murals, and other updates have been unveiled.

As a reminder, the Grand Floridian will not host a holiday gingerbread display in 2025 due to the lounge updates. That said, from our recent visits, it appears that most of the updates are complete and the focus seems to have shifted toward the garden tea room.
