Magical Dining Dates for 2025 Announced + Participating Disney World Restaurants
Magical Dining returns to the Orlando area next month! The culinary celebration runs from August 15th through September 30th. This year, the Visit Orlando charity event, sponsored by Orlando Health, celebrates its 20th anniversary. Over 160 restaurants are participating, with a few located at Disney World.
Now you might be wondering what exactly is Magical Dining? That’s understandable. For starters, this is a local event that’s not affiliated with Walt Disney World. It’s a charitable cause where patrons can visit restaurants and eat for a cause. Every meal served during this year’s Magical Dining benefits REED Charitable Foundation and other local nonprofits. If you would like to read more about this year’s charity selection, you can do so here on Visit Orlando.
Now for the nuts and bolts of the matter. When you dine at one of the participating restaurants during the above-stated period, you’ll be presented with a special “magical dining” menu. If, for some reason, you don’t receive the menu when you’re seated, let your server know why you’re there. Participating restaurants offer a special menu that features three courses. These are prix-fixe dinners, and the prices are unbeatable. Not only are you getting a more than reasonable deal, you’re also supporting a deserving charity that impacts the Central Florida community.
As for what’s included in the prix-fixe meal, you’ll receive the choice of an appetizer, entree, and dessert. It is essential to note, however, that taxes and gratuities are not included. This meal is per person. It cannot be split between diners.

You can preview the entire list of Magical Dining restaurants here. Reservations can be made on OpenTable. While reservations are often preferred, most locations will take walk-ups based on availability. You do not have to have a reservation to enjoy the Magical Dining menu.
Previously, we had dinner at Jaleo during Magical Dining and felt it was an incredible price and a fun opportunity to try multiple items. As a group, we each ordered the Magical Dining menu, and then we were able to share many of the items among us. Of course, this was simple to do at a restaurant like Jaleo that offers tapas and small plates. You can read our Jaleo Review here if you would like to learn more about that experience.
Now, if you want to venture outside the Disney bubble, you’ll find numerous other options that are worthy of a meal. We only listed the Disney options because most of our readers are planning a Disney World vacation and staying on property. Except for Ravello, you can take complimentary Disney transportation to any of the restaurants listed above. The Swan and Dolphin locations might require a transfer, but you can take a bus or the Skyliner to Hollywood Studios and then take a Friendship boat or walk from there to the hotel.
We hope you have the opportunity to participate in Magical Dining this year. We consider it to be one of the best dining values around for anyone who enjoys savoring an extended meal.
