Road Closures for the 2025 runDisney Wine and Dine 10K and Half Marathon Races
If you’re visiting Walt Disney World this upcoming weekend (October 24th-26th), you’ll want to be aware of a few road closures on Saturday and Sunday morning due to the runDisney Wine and Dine Half Marathon weekend. We’ve provided a map with details and timelines below.
Wine and Dine 10K Road Closures (Saturday)
- Saturday, October 25, 2025
- Official Race Start Time: 5:00 AM Eastern Time
The following map shows road closures in red with highlighted times for the Wine and Dine 10K race on Saturday. If you’re driving to Epcot or Magic Kingdom area early in the morning, you might run into a little heavier traffic than normal. If you’re staying in the Disney Springs Resort area, you’ll want to take note of some of the closures around Vacation Club Way (until 7:00 a.m.) and Overpass Road West (until 9:00 a.m.)

Wine and Dine Half Marathon Road Closures (Sunday)
- Sunday, October 26, 2025
- Official Race Start Time: 5:00 AM Eastern Time
The half-marathon course on Sunday will likely cause some delays and more congestion property-wide due to its length. This race could cause impacts when driving to both the Magic Kingdom and Epcot. Make sure you’re aware of the closures below (red) before you drive to the parks.
If you’re staying at a resort, you might be better off relying on Disney transportation. Those driving might want to arrive extra early and deal with the traffic, or plan a later start to the day. The map below provides details of road closures. It is also important to note that Epcot doesn’t officially open until 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 26th. (The park will open at 9:30 a.m. for resort guests with the early entry benefit.)

If you’re staying at a Skyliner Resort over the weekend, you might notice signage indicating that no Skyliner transportation is provided to race activities, including the post-race party at Epcot on Saturday evening.

Signs are posted at the resort hotels with helpful tips and information about how to access the events from your resort. You can find more information on the official runDisney Expo website.
