Before and After: Minnie Mouse’s New Look at Red Carpet Dreams
As many of you know, we walk through the character meet-and-greets at Disney World every so often to check for changes or updates. It had been some time since we last walked through Red Carpet Dreams at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. So a few days ago, I decided to hop in the covered outdoor line right before an imminent downpour. I was not surprised to find a long wait of 35 minutes posted. Once inside, however, I found Minnie in a new dress. Apparently, the new dress debuted a few months back. This was our first time seeing it.

For a little backstory, Red Carpet Dreams opened back in May of 2016, becoming the traditional place to meet Mickey and Minnie Mouse at Hollywood Studios. Please note that they do not meet together at this location. The only regular place to meet them together is at Adventurer’s Outpost at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, where they wear safari suits.

At Red Carpet Dreams, you’ll wait in one line. First, you come to a room where you meet Minnie Mouse. Here is a look at the dress she wore between 2016 and 2025. We’ll call it her “before” look.

Now, here is her modern look that debuted sometime in 2025.

She has a new bow that adds a little more pizazz to her overall look. The new dress gives her a more edgy look while maintaining the old Hollywood glamour style.

Once you’re finished, you’ll continue down the hall to the next room and meet Mickey Mouse. He meets here as Sorcerer Mickey.

A PhotoPass photographer is available at both individual meet-and-greets. Additionally, Mickey and Minnie Mouse sign autographs at this location. As mentioned above, Red Carpet Dreams typically has long waits throughout most of the day. It is, however, not the worst place to wait out an afternoon rain shower or thunderstorm. When you’re finished, you can head straight across the street to ABC Commissary if it’s still raining. You could get a little wet, but it’s not far to reach a covered area.
