Disney Adds Inclement Weather Policy for 2026 Disney Jollywood Nights

Walt Disney World has added a Weather Updates and Policies section to the Disney Jollywood Nights Event Guide in the My Disney Experience app. Under the policy, Disney Jollywood Nights will continue in most inclement weather. They’ve also added alternative locations for some entertainment and characters should it rain.

The first Disney Jollywood Nights of the season starts this weekend. This year’s event will be offered on select nights between November 7th and January 5th. Below, we’ll take a look at what you need to know in case you happen to attend an evening when Disney’s Hollywood Studios is experiencing significant rain, thunder, or lightning.

Disney Jollywood Nights Rain Alternatives

The following considerations and alternatives are listed in the My Disney Experience app for this year’s event.

Attractions: If it’s raining or you’re experiencing other inclement weather, Disney suggests that guests check the attractions map in the My Disney Experience app to find available rides. (This section also lists wait times.) We have a complete list of rides available at Disney Jollywood Nights if you want to learn more.

Entertainment: In the event of inclement weather:

Some or all performances of Glisten! and Twilight Soirée at the Tip Top Club may be canceled.

Final Thoughts

We hope this information is helpful. Should you need to locate this rain policy on the night of your visit, you can find it in the My Disney Experience app. Search for the Disney Jollywood Nights Event Guide. It is linked under “Weather Updates and Tips” at the bottom of the page. Disney also has a dedicated weather page that is updated in the event of tropical storms and hurricanes.

As for our personal experience, we’ve attended party nights at both Disney Jollywood Nights and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party when it rained. Sometimes, we’ve toughed it out and made the most of the evening. Other times, we’ve stopped by guest relations to discuss our options.

For us, that usually means transferring our ticket to another evening. Of course, not everyone has the luxury of being at Disney World long enough to change their event nights. Thankfully, Disney is really good about working with guests in these situations. If there’s a widespread issue, you will likely receive a notification in the My Disney Experience app with alternatives.

If you’re visiting Disney World in November, remember that it can be exceptionally rainy. So keep an eye on the weather and consider your options, including the policies listed above in the event of rain. For more on this year’s event, you might like the following:
