Photos: The 2026 Easter Egg Display at Disney’s Contemporary Resort
If you’re a fan of The Muppets, you’ll love this year’s Easter Egg display at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Each egg represents a Muppet! This egg display is located on the resort’s first floor near the entrance of Steakhouse 71. Here’s a look at the entire display. As you can see, Miss Piggy gets the spotlight. Her egg-shaped figure stands at the front and center of the display. Of course, anyone who knows her wouldn’t expect anything less.
Here’s a closer look. She’s wearing a purple satin dress with a bow and silver heels.
Two tables featuring eight of the Muppets sit immediately behind her. Each egg is resting in a specially designed case. I thought the cases were a nice touch, given the collaborative effort of this year’s display.
We’ll start with Sam Eagle and Sweetums.
Next to them, we see Kermit and Swedish Chef.
On the opposite side of the display, we see the other four Muppets Easter Eggs.
Here we have Fozzie Bear and Beaker.
Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Animal sit next to them.
Last, but by no means least, we see “the old guys” looking at the display with the rest of the audience.
One wonders what Statler and Waldorf have to say about the display or the fact that they are part of it.
Overall, we thought this was a nice tribute to The Muppets, and all of the eggs were well done. We’ve seen some themes with past egg displays, but never one that was quite this conformative. The cast members did an incredible job.
