Crew’s Cup Lounge and Yachtsman Steakhouse at Disney’s Yacht Club to Close for Refurbishment in 2026
Walt Disney World has announced that as part of the ongoing refurbishment of Disney’s Yacht Club, two dining options will close for refurbishment in 2026. First, Crew’s Cup Lounge will close starting February 23, 2026. This is the lounge that sits adjacent to Yachtsman Steakhouse. Per the announcement, Crew’s Cup is expected to reopen sometime in May 2026.
Then, Yachtsman Steakhouse will close in May 2026 for a refresh. Per Disney, the signature restaurant will reopen by August 2026. The announcement did not clarify if either closing would overlap with the other in May. Here is the official wording from the announcement:
Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is undergoing exterior maintenance through late 2026, which will affect views throughout the Resort and, at times, require alternate paths of travel. In addition, Yachtsman Steakhouse will close in May 2026 for a refresh, with reopening expected by August 2026, and Crew’s Cup Lounge will close February 23, 2026, with reopening expected in May 2026. Guests may see or hear daytime work until the refurbishment is complete.

You may remember that earlier this week, we shared another new refurbishment notice for the Admiral Pool at Disney’s Yacht Club. Both Disney’s Beach and Yacht Club have undergone extensive refurbishment in the last couple of years. Of course, with two combined resorts of their size and magnitude, it is understandable that these things take time. If you have plans to dine at either of these locations during their closures, you’ll need to consider elsewhere.
Other options in the Epcot Resorts Area that are comparable to Yachtsman Steakhouse would be Flying Fish at Disney’s BoardWalk and Bourbon Steak by Chef Michael Mina at Disney’s Swan and Dolphin. We haven’t dined at Bourbon Steak yet, but we recently enjoyed dinner at Flying Fish, and it was an incredibly delicious experience. I really don’t believe you could go wrong with either option.
As far as Crew’s Cup is concerned, the lounge will be pretty hard to beat. It’s a Resorts Gal favorite. However, we do enjoy a few things at Martha’s Vineyard, and the lounge at Ale and Compass has some good options that don’t require a reservation.
