Disney Shares Name of New Nighttime Parade Coming to Magic Kingdom
Walt Disney World has announced that Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away is the official name of the new nighttime parade coming to Magic Kingdom. The parade is expected to debut in the summer of 2025. The new name was released this evening during ABC’s Wonderful World of Disney Holiday Spectacular. You may remember the parade was announced earlier this year at the 2024 D23 Ultimate Fan Event.
Here is a portion of the announcement from the parade’s director:
“Disney Starlight is a constellation of Disney dreams brought to life by the magic of the Blue Fairy. Fans will see Disney favorites from classics like Pinocchio and Peter Pan to newer favorites like Encanto, Frozen, and Moana. We’re taking this idea of a magical constellation of wishes and dreams and weaving it throughout the parade, uniting our stories with a touch of hope and wonder.”

Magic Kingdom’s new nighttime parade is a long-awaited event among Disney fans. The last performance of the Main Street Electrical Parade at Disney World was on October 9, 2016.
