Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort Two-Bedroom Villa Pictures and Room Review
The two-bedroom villa at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa is a wonderful unit for anyone who’s looking to accommodate a larger party or who needs a little room to spreadout. For this visit, we spent a week at Saratoga as part of a split stay between here and the one-bedroom villa at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort.
The two-bedroom villa sleeps up to 9 guests. One bedroom has a king-size bed, while the other has two queen beds. The living room hosts the additional sleeping quarters, offering a queen-size pull-down bed and a twin-size pull-down bed. This particular unit typically offers views of the garden, lake, pool, woodlands, or fairways. An additional upgrade to a preferred location is also available for the two-bedroom unit.

Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa sits on over 65 acres. While we enjoy this resort, it’s important to note that it’s not for everyone. If you plan to take advantage of the resort’s amenities, you’ll need to be prepared for extra walking or have a good knowledge of how the bus works. You can use the bus system to get around the resort. The preferred location mentioned above will put you close to Disney Springs or close to the main lobby (the Carriage House), where you’ll find the resort’s feature pool and dining. That said, all resort areas except for The Carrousel, have their own swimming pool.

It is also worth noting that Saratoga Springs is a dedicated Disney Vacation Club (DVC).  This is the type of resort where Disney Vacation Club members can book stays using a point system, similar to a timeshare. However, Disney also makes these units available to all guests who would like to reserve them based on availability. As you will soon see, DVC Resorts offer more of the amenities and conveniences of home than a regular hotel room. Our Saratoga Springs Resort Review provides a more in-depth explanation of how it all works, along with an overview of each resort area.
We were assigned a two-bedroom villa in The Paddock section for this stay. We’ll start with a look at the living room area, which is open to the kitchen and dining area.

As you can probably tell, the paneled piece behind the sofa pulls down from the wall to reveal a queen-size Murphy bed. If you’re counting, Disney considers the queen and king-size beds to sleep two guests.

Here is a look at the space with the bed in use. Extra pillows and blankets are available in the closets.

Here are a few photos of the artwork behind the bed, which features a Victorian house and a few decorative items.

Next, we have the single pull-down bed. This bed sits on the opposite side of the living room underneath the flat-screen television.

The artwork features Goofy getting ready for a good night’s sleep. He’s reading a book before bed. This kind of thing is always fun for adults and children alike. As for our party, we had a 13-year-old who slept on this bed. I think that it worked well for him, but he is getting to the point that if he gets any taller, he’ll be ready for a queen-size bed as well.

We had a long bench in the dining space with a table and two chairs.

Here is a photo of the full-size kitchen space. As you can imagine, having a kitchen is a huge amenity if you plan to use it. We prepared breakfast on most mornings of this stay, and had plenty of room to store snacks and other beverages. We also enjoyed a couple of meals at Disney Springs during this stay and were able to store leftovers in the fridge and reheat them in the microwave later. This was exceptionally convenient.

Here are a few photos of the amenities you can expect to find in the one-bedroom kitchen. You can select any image below to make it larger. They include an oven with a stove cooktop, a regular-sized coffee-maker, a built-in microwave, and a toaster oven. The unit comes stocked with a few amenities like paper towels, dish detergent, etc. If you need anything extra, you can always request it.

We’ll take a quick look at the foyer before we head off to the bedrooms.

I adored the artwork featuring Johnny Fedora and Alice Blue Bonnet. I don’t know if you remember, but the pair was once separated and then reunited in one of those charming early-on Disney animated short films.

All one-bedroom and larger villas come with a built-in washer and dryer.

Okay, we’ve made it to the first bedroom, which is setup similar (not exactly) to a regular hotel room. This room has two queen beds, sleeping up to four guests.

Here is an opposite view of the room

We had a dresser with plenty of storage space, a lamp, and a chair sits in the corner.

This room also had a double-door closet with plenty of room to hang items. This is one of the places you’ll find extra pillows and blankets hiding.

Our vanity area featured two sinks, a makeup mirror, and a long shelf underneath to store items.

The water closet was separate from the vanity area, allowing room for multiple people to get ready simultaneously.

Here is the shower with a tub combination. It had the usual built-in toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The bath area was similar to the deluxe studio at Saratoga Springs that we stayed in a few years back.

Here are a few more photos of the bedroom area.

We’ll move across the unit to check out the primary suite. For reference, when you enter the unit, the main living area is in the center. The primary suite is to the right, and the second bedroom is to the left. So the two-bedroom unit has a split layout. Here we have the king-size bed.

This bedroom has a split bath area and walk-in closet.

The bed is flanked by nightstands with lamps. A reading chair sits near the window.

This room also had a dresser with the standard flat-screen television above it.

The artwork above the bed makes for a nice display. If you look closely, you’ll see splashes of color featuring classic characters on the black-and-white photos.

One portion of the bath area in the primary suite has a vanity with one sink and a soaking tub.

Here are a few closeups.

The other part of the bath has a walk-in shower and vanity. This layout also allows for multiple guests to get ready at the same time.

Last but not least, the two-bedroom unit has one balcony off the main living area.

It’s nice to have a place to enjoy a little fresh air, especially an early morning coffee before everyone else wakes up.

This was our view, which was pleasant. This photo is also a good example of what to expect when staying at Saratoga Springs. It’s a beautifully landscaped resort with several bodies of water and lots of trees. I always enjoy walking around the resort, even when I’m not staying there.

Here is a view from the ground looking back toward the front of our building in the Paddock.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay in the two-bedroom at Saratoga Springs. During this stay, we spent some time in the parks, and we also enjoyed walking over to Disney Springs a couple of times. We had brunch at Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ one morning, and it was such a pleasant and slow start to our day. As mentioned earlier, this stay was part of a split stay at the BoardWalk. I was invited along by my friends at Firefly Travels.
