First Look: Reimagined Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs
Walt Disney World has provided a first look at the freshly reimagined Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs, a Disney Vacation Club Resort. This unique type of accommodation sits along the Sassagoula River. The cabinesque hideaways offer three bedrooms with plenty of room to spread out. They also provide privacy in their elevated (and secluded) setting among the trees. If you’ve ever taken the boat service between Disney Springs and one of the Port Orleans Resorts, you’ve sailed by one of these hidden gems, possibly without even realizing it.

Per Disney, the reimagined Treehouse Villas will begin to debut over the next few months. The new interiors were inspired by New England-style craftsmanship and the artistry of the Arts and Crafts movement. The refreshed design is said to tie the playful charm of the treehouses to the traditional look and feel of Saratoga Springs. Guests can expect a rich color palette with natural finishes like wood and stone, helping to create a retreat-like feel in a natural setting. Here are a few photos of the updated living spaces. You can select any image to enlarge it.

Each villa sleeps up to nine guests and features the following amenities: a full-size kitchen, washer and dryer, and updated living and dining areas with furniture and fixtures. Each unit also offers private deck areas. Here are a few photos of the bedrooms and baths in a newly updated unit.

In addition to the photos of the unit, Disney has also shared some close-up images, noting the attention to detail you’ll find in each treehouse villa. Everywhere you look, you can expect to find organic elements and animal motifs that are inspired by classic characters. Inspiration was drawn from timeless animated classics like The Fox and the House, Sleeping Beauty, and Cinderella, among others. You’ll find these touches come to life through murals, fine art paintings, and furniture carvings.

This renovation to the Treehouse Villas will be completed later this year. For more on what’s going on around the resorts, check back with ResortsGal.com.
